DeShaun to return!

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Of the four Final Four teams from this past year, I'd say OSU is the third most likely to get back next year (behind Louisville and Kansas).

ADDED: Which means absolutely nothing of course.

I think OSU gets to the Sweet 16 or Elite 8 next year.

wait what?

kentucky is obv going to get noel and shabazz to round out another top 1 recruiting class leading to another starting lineup of lottery picks. even if they only get one (which is prolly a lock) they're still the favorites to make it back.

Actually I've been hearing that Shabazz will go to UCLA.
I've also been hearing Doron Lamb will return to KY

I'm assuming Teague, Lamb, Jones, MKG, and Davis all leave.

I have also heard Shabazz is leaning toward UCLA. Even if they get Noel, asking another team full of Freshman to get to the Final Four is a lot.

If they get Shabazz and Lamb stays, then I'd put them third. A team full of freshmen winning is akin to catching lightning in a bottle. Doesn't matter how good they are.

The starting lineup will more than likely be Craft, Thompson, Smith, Thomas, Ravenel and team is going to struggle to score big time.

No way.

Evan is a bench player and more importantly, he understands that.

Next year is Amir's opportunity to start and grow at Center.

I also think Sam Thompson comes off the bench. Sam will be a solid player off the bench that can spell either the SG or SF positions. The nice thing is the versatility of their wing players. Even though Sam will come off the bench, he will still probably get 20 minutes a game.

This brings us to LaQuinton Ross. I dislike pandering to players, but you need this guy to stay on the team. If he isn't starting, he needs to transfer b/c it will be awful for chemistry and team unity. But LaQuinton will arguably be the best scorer on the team. All I know is Scoonie Penn and Michael Redd were raving about this kids offensive ability all off-season. Scoonie Penn said he couldn't be guarded. I honestly think Thad keeps some kids in check their freshman year just so they don't bolt for the draft. DeShaun even being an example of that...

LaQuinton is going to get his...assuming he stays with the team. My only concern will be how Thomas and LaQuinton work on the court together. They're both a bit similar....love to score, take difficult shots, but have all the confidence in the world. Amir Williams will cover up a lot of issues under the hoop, but I'd also be concerned about defense with Ross and Thomas on the court together. The great thing about Ross is his stroke from deep. He will have the ability to open up a lot of room for Thomas...it will just be interesting to see if he has the ability to help Thomas get the ball in scoring positions.

PG - Craft
2G - Smith Jr.
SF - Ross
PF - Thomas
C - Williams

Ravenal and Thompson first off bench...J.D. Weatherspoon and Shannon Scott will also get a lot of burn.

I'd like to see Thad force opponents into difficult match-ups although that doesn't seem to be his M.O.
