What's babbits deal? Didn't see him

His overall rating and potential(47/47) are not high, so you may not have scrolled far enough down to see him. But I felt/assumed that I really needed to add some more 3P shooting and his 3P score is 86. There were a few other good 3P shooting stretch 4s but they were both 30+ so I decided to go with Babbit and hope his one excellent skill pays off.

Sorry I've been gone, guys. My grandma was in the hospital (all is good!) and I was out for the day because of it. But thanks to @Tornicade for drafting for me. I'm very pleased with my team.

PG: Rajon Rondo
SG: Corey Brewer-Nic Batum
SF: Paul George-James Johnson
PF: Channing Frye-Harrison Barnes
C: Andrew Bogut-Zaza Pachulia

Super versatile team so far. I don't think that will be my starting lineup to start but who knows. I think I could go really small (Rondo-Brewer-George-Barnes-Frye) and just rely on scoring a ton, I could go with just the best players (Rondo-Batum-George-Barnes-Bogut), or I could do what you see above. I love the depth of my team so far, though. A lot of perimeter defense and three-point shooting.

I was tempted to go that route.. Super 3 shooter.. But everything I saw was a liability by speed and defense and rebounding.. It'll be interesting to see if the three trumps all that, I still don't know if I made the right call

I don't know if the 3 trumps all(CBBI's team will be a good metric of that) but I have 3 other PF/C who can't hit threes and my PG's aren't excellent at it, so I figured I needed to add another 3P shooter to go along with Beal, Covington, & Thabo

Check PM.

I just finished a simulated season on NBA 2K. I only did the first 8 rounds of draft picks, and a few picks got messed up, but the result from season 1 was Miami as the champions.
Eastern Conference
1- CHA: 53-29 (Highest point diff at +5.9)
2- DET: 49-33
3- MIA: 49-33 (Highest fg% at .482%)
4- BOS: 47-35
5- CHI: 42-40
6- IND: 40-42 (Highest APG= 25.4)
7- PHI: 39-43
8- CLE: 38-44

Western Conference
1- PHX: 52-30 (109.4 ppg = highest in the league)
2- DAL: 49-33
3- SAC: 48-34
4- MIN: 47-35
5- MEM: 46-36
6- NO: 45-37 (Highest 3PT%= .395)
7- UTA: 43-39
8- OKC: 42-40
Just missed: SA 41-41, LAL 41-41, POR 40-42

Extra notes: Russ= MVP, Nerlens Noel= DPOY, Buddy Hield= ROTY,
Surprise 2nd team All-NBA= Gordon Hayward, Highest OPPG at 108.1= Orlando, Highest RPG= Golden State, Surprise retirement after year 1= Kyle Korver.
*At the beginning of year 2: SA, CHA, SAC, and ORL are the top 4 rated teams overall.
Bulls

Like I said, I only had the first 8 rounds. Kind of interesting that the team with the number 1 pick ended up winning year 1.

I also wanted to note that the idea of a more competitive balance in the league was absolutely realized. 15 teams had between 43 wins and 36 wins.

Keep it going..

Did rockets get last place?

Edit:

Literally half my team isn't in the game yet

Dog told me the lowest win team had 28 wins. in the east and 29 in the west.

its just shows how close these teams are and how much these last 4 round can impact the team short and long term

and neither were the rockets.

rosters have a ten player min so I might run a sample season after we finish this round

Edit:

I downloaded an updated roster online. It didn't have a lot of the 2nd round picks from this past draft which is where I ran into trouble drafting. Also, I messed up a few picks in the middle of the 7th round because I got out of order.
