LeBron James Jr.

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Still think the "father/son rule" should be a thing in the NBA. I bet LeBron's had so many dreams about one day playing alongside his son for Cleveland. Boy, what a sight to behold that would be.

Basically, whatever we have to do to draft this kid one day needs to be done. Even if he somehow turns out to be just average, continuing the James lineage in Cleveland would just be a phenomenal story.

The kid has a crazy advanced game for his age. Wow.

The key will be exactly how big/what kind of an athlete he ends up being. He obviously has the DNA advantage.....

I just want to fear Fred McLeod call the game wiht LBJ and LBJ Jr playing.

"Senior at the top of the key, Junior sets the screen, Senior drives left towards the basket, Towns slides over to trap, AND ITS A NO LOOK BEHIND THE BACK BOUNCE PASS TO JUNIOR WHO RAN STRAIGHT DOWN EUCLID TO CATCH THE PASS FROM HIS DAD AND TOMAHAWK IT HOME"

How tall is he now? Seems reasonably tall from that video for being in 6th(?) grade.

Is Bryce Maximus any good?

Outside of gunning for the all time record & ossibly 40k. I've always felt like this would be a big reason to prolong his career.

All time leader scorer
Multiple championships
Every other award under the sun

And gets to play with his kid.

He's so great, his offspring get to play in the league....while he's playing.

If that all doesn't scream Goat, I don't know what does.

The reality of them playing together is pretty crazy to think about. Throwing each other alley oops, think about the chemistry! :chuckle:

It would be so weird though. I wonder how they would interact on the court. Like how LeBron would treat him or like if they would ever yell at each other. But what an advantage it would be for LBJ Jr. if he got to play alongside his dad, one of the best of all time, for a year or two to learn the ropes of the NBA. He could see everything first hand, even though he is already aware of how the NBA works behind the scenes at this age.

But having LeBron guide and coach him on and off the court alone will give him a greater chance of being successful than most. Regardless of his genetics and skill. And every mistake LeBron has made, he can help his son avoid. And every nugget of wisdom LeBron knows and his insane Bball IQ that he has developed over the years and learned from the greats himself can all be taught to LBJ Jr. from day one. Talk about a great head start. And LBJ Jr. can continue to build on it for his whole career. The knowledge and wisdom of a GOAT as a rookie. It would almost be as if LeBron himself went back in time and taught his rookie self everything he knew after his career was done and imagine how powerful that would be. LBJ Jr. should have a stronger mental game as a rookie than almost any rookie ever, and the mental game is more than half the battle.

Even if he turns out to be Jeffery Jordan, I wanna see the combo play the game they love both together.

How tall and old is he at this point?

Can he shoot free throws better than his dad?

He seems to be more natural at a younger age at it.

Looks to me he isnt going to be that tall, more of a natural pg. Crazy handles and vision for a middle school kid though.

He's gunning for the Kyrie model of basketball player. Poor dad.

To answer previous question, he is 12. So 5th or 6th grade? I don't know how tall.

His handle and jumper is much better than LBJ at that age, passing/vision very similar, that is what LeBron said himself when asked about his son during shootaround. His handles might be better than his dad right now :chuckle:

If he grows to be 6'6-6'9 with only improving those skills with similar athleticism to LBJ, he is going to be a problem. Even at 6'2-6'5, he could be a really big point guard and matchup problem. With his feel for the game and LBJ teaching him, aka learning from one of the greatest basketball minds ever, I don't think height will matter much. Just possible it will work to his advantage if he is tall.

12 is 6 or 7th grade, daughter is 12 and in 7th grade, turns 13 in June.

And i am just comparing his size to the other kids, he doesnt look that tall, but but who knows, I am not his Dr and have no clue how tall he is now.

But as a comparison, there is one kid in my daughters class about 5'10 already, so 12 years old Lebron was probably already close to 6' himself and Jr looks 5'6 or so to me.

No big deal, nothing the kid can control how tall he is going to be, just wondering if anyone really knows how tall he is right now.
