LeBron James

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
All care about as far as Lebron is for him to hit his foul line shots. I hope he's shooting 300-500 foul line shots a day. Foul line shooting is one of his flaws which he has to improve on.

Why does everyone care so fucking much if he wins MVP or not? He is generally recognized as the best player in the league by fans and media alike. Whether or not he gets a trophy that says so isn't really a huge deal. Before anyone tries to say "it'll help his legacy," I'm thinking that is pretty well secured at this point as well.
I think because he deserves a few more to further solidify his place in history as the greatest and most decorated player in history after he walks away from the game. He's chasing a ghost.

Yep in 30 years kids who never saw LeBron play will be comparing him to their generation's best and MVPs will be part of the discussion.

So you're telling me if I put LeBron on the ROckets the Rockets would have a better record?

Because if you say that, you're saying the Rockets, by default, have a better supporting cast than LeBron has right now...and that's total and utter bullshit.

imo

LeBron would put up better #s on the Rockets because of that system and he'd play harder.

Why?

Because the Rockets would have no shot at the title anyway so I wouldn't be surprised if LeBron said screw it and went all out for the regular season. Playoffs be damned.

Oh man, if LeBron could concentrate on his freethrows he'd probably average 2 more points a game. The fact that he's averaging the numbers he is with the guys on this team is crazy. LeBron is doing close to what Westbrook is, but with guys that can take these numbers away from him.
If he keeps at the pace he's rebounding this month and picks up assists a tad more (should help with a healthy Korver/Love)

He could average 26/9/9

Its a simple difference, but then again it makes a big deal. Suddenly Westbrook's 30/10/10 isn't so amazing. Less usage and LeBron's only an assist/rebound less from averaging a triple double himself.

Again if the Cavs just won at least 6 or 7 of the games they've blown I think he'd have a real shot regardless..

Somewhere around the same time most people were losing their **** about LeBron.

Its tough to see LeBron not play at his max/best effort, but remember guys....all will be well by February :biggrinthumb:

I'm going to dread watching the NBA after LeBron retires. I kind of hope they retire the league when he does. His impact has been that great and we may never see it again.

That's what bulls fans said in the late 90s

I'm just hoping the team can get healthy over the road trip so we can rest Lebron without having to worry about integrating guys back into the rotation

Well for Bulls fans at least, they certainly never recovered after the ‘90s. Derrick Rose could never measure up.

I think those lame ass losses in January and the loss away OKC and Houston would end up hurting LeBron's MVP chances. If we won at OKC and Houston, LeBron would have probably been favourite for the MVP by now. Nothing pushes the case for an MVP candidate like winning one against the other MVP candidates at their own backyard.

Was going to say this til I saw you posted it first.

Rockets with LeBron probably win more regular season games. But that team is not winning a Championship, and this Rockets team with Harden is certainly not winning a Championship.

This.

I think for regular season, Rockets with LeBron would have probably won more games than we have won this season. But in playoffs, I would take our roster with LeBron over theirs with LeBron anyday. That too eyes closed.

evidence that I talk about the Cavs too much:

--my four year old, from the back seat of the car: "Daddy, is Lebron James going to be the next President of the United States?"

--me: "probably not for a while son, I think there are too many Warriors and Celtics fans out there, but who knows, it could happen someday."

--my four year old: "well, he would DEFINITELY win the election!"
