FOH with this shit. You honestly expect me to believe white people are being oppressed in this country?

Fuck that shit. I'm a white male and this view makes me sick.

We disavowed and stood against racism in the Civil War, in WWII, during the Civil Rights Movement, and with the election of a black President.

There has never been and should never be acceptance of racism and hate in the United States. Period.

Racist words turns to racist action (e.g. Nazi Germany and pre-civil rights lynchings).

Again, I say, get the fuck out of here with that nonsensical bullshit.
Lol you're the one with the "you're a racist bro!" for explaining that words have distinct meanings. You probably can't even explain the views that made up the Nazi party.

This is another sad day in our centuries old struggle with race in America. In order:

1. Someone was killed today by a white supremacist on US Soil
2. The President failed to condemn white nationalism and seemed to blame liberals
3. People are somehow defending white nationalism
4. Oh yeah, there was a big fucking white nationalist march today

Honestly we should send the alt-right supporters back to Europe. Or maybe Siberia. If you believe in America's ideals, you can stay, if you believe it is "owned" by a race of people, we don't want you here.

What do you consider to be American ideals and where did you get them from?

I've seen a lot on Twitter about how we need to go back to America's "founding principles", but I think only the white nationalists would be happy about that.

You know damn well what I am talking about. Everyone is equal, everyone has the same rights, etc etc. Not the idiocy we see from the alt-right. They think the rules should be some sort of sliding scale based on skin color. Something you have no control over. We should be judged on the content of our character. I feel sorry for these people. I can only hope that they will get older and feel shame for their younger selves.

I agree with you, but there are people on Twitter talking about America's "founding principles", like this chick. America was founded on racist principles so harkening back to them to try and condemn white nationalists doesn't work. I agree that America's principles have changed and improved since then.

I learned something a long time ago in my college English courses. If you have to go out of your way, in writing, to explain that you're not racist despite the fact that your previous statements might insinuate otherwise... It usually means you're racist.

Your first statement should be clear enough on its face. You're very clearly legitimizing white nationalism and its synonymous terms.

Honestly gross.
1. The fuck English class teaches that?

2. Youre asserting as long as someone is called a racist and if that person defends themself, theyre a racist.

In that case, Binkster youre thr biggest fucking racist on this board and its disgusting.

Yes, they are mad. Crap like this is continuously published by mainstream news sources so it's not a surprise when white people get fed up with it.

I want to be part of a country that embraces free speech and that disapproves of political violence from all sides. We don't have that in America now. Look at the way right-wing speakers on college campuses are met with violence. When you refuse to allow differing opinions to be heard you end up with violence. Demonstrations like today are the result of the political atmosphere leftists have been fostering in recent years.

This is totally outrageous. I will let your words speak for themselves.

Yeah, I mean clearly our principles have changed since the 1770s. But I think a lot of the founding principles are still legit, they just need to be applied to both genders, all races, religions, and sexual orientations.

The alt-right does not believe this. They believe straight Christians of European descent are entitled to better jobs, women, opportunity, etc. They are sad sad men. I think we all know from personal experience, it feels much better to help someone up or lend them a hand then it does to push them down.

American is the great experiment. It should be a place for the "good people". If you believe in respecting others, the rule of law, human rights, and hard work, we have a place for you. The alt-right, the religious right....they honestly have more in common with ISIS than they do with America. We have had our own ISIS in this country for hundreds of years. They even tried to secede and form their own "caliphate" in the 1860s. We have done our best to ignore and appease, but this 2016 uprising they are having is not OK. We need to stop condoning it. Next time you hear some hate speech, call it out. Say, not in America. It's not ok.

Which laws and principles dont apply to minorities?

Who believes they are entitled to jobs and women because of their race? Can you support any of these claims with evidence?

They do. What I mean is, applying to everyone should be considered founding principles.

I don't need to. I've seen enough of it. You know what I am talking about with these alt-right types. Let's not play dumb on a day like today.

If its so ubiquitous surely you could find a single example.

I dont think you have an accurate idea of the alt right. Id like to not play dumb just as much as you, but that requires knowledge of the actual topics were discussing rather than shooting back regurgitated inaccuracies from people misinforming us

David. These people are white supremisists and neo nazis. Surely I don't have to explain what those are to you.

1. Weve discussed this at length today and its illogical.

2. More importantly you have again failed to address the actual argument. Will you do that? If i wanted to play wackamole id go to dave n busters.

A March by white supremacists is the fault of leftists condemning racism too much.

White nationalists aren't necessarily white supremacists.

Goosestepping wasn't invented by the Nazis so... Somehow someone else looks stupid for bringing it up.

Jesus. Fucking. Christ.
