The "What are you playing now?" Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I picked up Wolfenstein yesterday. I didn't play the first one, but I played some of the older entries in the series. Going to try to pump some out before I hit the gym.

I'd play the first one before the sequel. It's a direct sequel and they are definitely story-based games.

I really like the new COD. The multiplayer is really fun and zombies is solid like usual. I haven't played much of the campaign but I liked the small portion that I did play.

Too late lololol.

Cool game though.

Also digging into Warhammer II now that the blood and gore is out.

I had pre purchased battlefront 2 after having incredible fun in the beta. Unfortunately the betas unlock progression wasn't even close to the final product and it looks to be that game time per hour values your time at 1$ an hour for this title. It will take over 40 hours to unlock a hero. In the beta you didn't have to unlock heroes. I'm trying to refund my purchase through greenman gaming.

UPDATE: After the large outcry, and most downvoted Reddit comment in history, they've dropped this requirement by 75%.

It's back on.

They've also slashed the rewards received by an equal amount, at least for the campaign. This is according to Game Informer.

For instance, during my review, completing the campaign earned players a unique loot crate that contained 20,000 credits. That reward is now 5,000 credits.

I already returned my purchase. Even with the 75 % reduction it is still absurd. This doesn't even factor in the loot crate problem:

"It is currently 4000 credits to purchase a Trooper Crate, 2400 credits for a Starfighter Crate, and 2,200 credits for a Hero Crate. In a match of blast where I came in 3rd place, with around 20 kills, I received 220 credits. So that's around 18 matches to get ONE TROOPER CRATE. With an average blast match taking around ten minutes it will take you 3 HOURS TO GET ONE TROOPER CRATE. It doesn't take some kind of math wizard to see how absurd of a proposition that is. Where is the basic respect for our time as people with real lives and responsibilities?"

What comes in the crates?

What comes in the crates?
Star Cards which enhance your abilities... I'd have no problem if the loot crates contained cosmetic items, but actual game altering progression is found in these crates giving people an advantage.

I could care less about Star Cards.

Jump pack was about the only one I used regularly in the last game. Getting the heroes has more meaning to me personally.

The decrease is good enough for me to purchase the game again, as a massive Star Wars fan.
