NFL Playoffs Thread

That catch by Gronk was illegal....he motioned from the FB position and was moving forward. A player who motions forward needs to be set for at least a second and cannot be moving forward at time of snap.

Gronk never got set for a second, but was also still moving forward at time of snap.....like, it’s just stupid....

That was such an easy call to make but I wasn't surprised that it wasn't called.

These officials are supposed to be the highest rated crews out of the regular season....haha.

They’ve been atrocious.

Just getting crushed all over the inter-webs.

Adding insult to injury.

Being assessed for non-penalties now. Maybe Tony Romo should take over the officiating.

They just called TEN for a bullshit false start but Gronk was fine lol

I saw that one....I think Romo interpreted rule incorrectly. The motion is supposed to be fluid. Half starting a motion and stopping, would be ambiguous to defense so it should be called. In a typical circumstance, a veteran WR would’ve just started the motion and basically jogged in place until QB called for motion.

You guys realize Tennessee is only in this game because Jeff Triplette mangled multiple calls against KC, right? Hard for me to care too much if a call or two go against the Titans.

Sounds like a lot of bitter Browns fans in this thread.

It was part of the long-con, Keys. The NFL wanted Tennessee to win that one because they knew KC would be a legitimate threat to the Pats. See Week 1 in Foxboro. :chuckle:

All those calls could have gone the other way, the Titans could have gotten 5 additional calls, and the Pats still would've won by 2 TDs

I have a lot of Yinzer friends and it's pretty universal that they are looking past Jacksonville. A bunch of facebook posts Last night about how New England should enjoy the Titans now because the Steelers are ready for them next week

I'll fucking shit myself if JAX wins. That bandwagon fan base deserves to get taken out by the Jags after 13 wins. It'd be just perfect. There would be calls to fire Tomlin right after the game

Anyone really think Jax can beat New England? They got the blueprint. Get after the QB and run the ball well to keep Brady off the field.

I don't think the Steelers have a prayer against them, honestly.

I hope everyone has seen the reactions from the last Steelers/Patriots game:
