Goodbye Larry Nance Jr.

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
The most important piece of the Irving trade was the Brooklyn pick. Now that might not help this season, no way around that, but one hopes LeBron can see how that pick becomes whichever hole seems most glaring: Completing the back court or a legit center if one is still there for the pick. Websites claiming LeBron has a "wish list" for free agency are just a bag of bullshit. Nothing is decided. Most of the trade pieces aren't even playing off LeBron well yet.
The more time passes and it looks like we're getting passable production from Nance at the 5 and Hood lives up to his billing as a star role player at the 2, the more amenable I'm becoming to trading that pick for Damian Lillard. A Lillard-LeBron spread PnR with Nance in the dunker spot flanked by Hood/JR and Love would be insane.

If Nance gets a respectable 3 pointer that has tangible gravity Bron would break his record for dunks in a year the way he shattered his postseason dunk record last year. Infinite 4 on 3s from 27 feet out, which Kyrie could never trigger, would be bonkers for Bron's back 9.

I’d Love for us to get Lillard, I just don’t see an acceptable package that we could put together to Portland’s liking . You have any ideas I’m all ears .

16 points, 12 rebounds (5 offensive), 1 steal, 1 block. He continues to perform exceptionally well against the league's best bigs (even when Lue handicaps him by not playing Zizic and going small).

Since starting, he's averaging 17 points, 13 rebounds.

Everyone blowing down on Larry on Twitter now, who gives a shit really.

The kid was hunting for autographs, he got a hold of Kevin and got his basketball signed.

It must suck to be athletes in a case like this, you can't even walk outside without pissing in somebody's cereal.

Did you see how he had the basketball in his bag and it was just open enough to see one panel of the ball?

I bet Nance has seen that kid and that tactic before. His parents might be using him to get balls sign by entire teams and selling them. I'd side with the kid if it wasn't in LA where Nance had been playing. It's like the "down and out guy" with the story about his wife being sick and needing bus fare, I'll throw him a couple bucks once but if he hits me up with the exact same story a couple weeks or months later I just tell him nope and walk away.

Love has 6-7 man crew . Friends or body guards ? Where is this location, school campus ? Both Nance and Love looked to be wearing practice gear . As far as Nance not signing , o well kid maybe next time .

Oh definitley, that wasn't done by a surprise once in a lifetime thing like a time when I literally bumped shopping carts turning aisle corners with JR Smith at a Wal-Mart lmao. Oh shit wassup JR sign my cereal box bro.

The ball in a bag was obviously a hunting autographs tactic. The mom taking video of players as well. And Mom, I can say no to a kid if I want. Steph Curry said no, lol. She's probably a jersey hunter.

Parents have their kids get autographs a ton nowadays. I saw it alot during the Tribe season, Lindor would write to 'name': then sign his autograph.

These players know parents are selling the shit for a quick buck.

Either they use the bag so the player doesn't see the other autographs or it's so the player signs it in the perfect spot. Me and my brother use to go to a baseball card shop when we were kids and the owner was real cool with us. We were going to an event to get autographs from Indians players and he asked us to get some balls sign, he instructed us to get it signed on the "sweet spot" of the baseball, otherwise it wasn't going to be worth as much.

Actually the Kevin Love video makes a lot of sense.. He could see the kid approaching and was able to identify it was a kid asking for an autograph...

Whereas it’s pretty obvious upon further review that Nance thought it was Isaiah Thomas asking for an autograph...

Easy mistake...

Yeah, I've got no problem with Larry blowing this kid off. Maybe he was in a bad mood, maybe he felt it was an autograph hound situation, or, maybe, he was just trying to get to his JOB and didn't want to be bothered.

Then again, I've always thought autographs were stupid.

Yep, sweet spot exactly. My father was big into autographs in the 90s and used me to get Manny and Belle. I did, but guess what, we still got them lol. Some folks are different though, like card shop owner, he sees dollar signs, much like some parents out here exploiting their kids to chase autographs. It's pretty sick.
