2018 Browns Free Agent Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I wonder which Free Agent CB the Browns are hot & heavy with. My gut feeling is it's either Trumaine Johnson, Breshad Breeland, or Aaron Colvin.

ETA: Forgot about Malcom Butler. Either way, it seems like a bigger name CB is on the cusp.

I just started a paid subscription of OBR yesterday. Not going to spill the beans because it really isn't fair to give away paid info for free...

That said... Nah.

As an aside, I'm not sure what to think of their insider information. A lot of it is just so vague and generalized. Also a ton of hedging. Who knows, though.

I’ve been “borrowing” my buddies paid subscription and can agree with your sentiments. The insider info so far feels like a large amount of statements that anyone with a decent understanding of the Browns and a twitter account could post.

Things like: “The browns are close to signing a couple of guys.” Or “I can’t say anymore right now but the Browns are in advanced talks with a FA.” They also talk about a ton of different targets and then if one does end up panning out they really trumpet how they nailed it.

We’ll see if their accuracy increases but so far i haven’t seen much that would make me want to pay. They didn’t have any of the trades from last week ahead of time.

Also the new top target they have isn’t a QB or a RB for those of you super interested.

Adidi is clueless... said on NFL Network yesterday that the Browns would “spend every penny in free agency”. I 100% watched her say that... so she’s on 92.3 this morning and Ken Carman asks her about the spending every penny quote of course. She gets all defensive and says that she never said that on TV and got all bitchy and awkward. Super weird. It’s not an important detail or anything why freak out about it ya know?

Pryor is a one year wonder from a producing standpoint. Everything went his way and he made the best of it, his ego got in the way and now he's getting humbled again. This past season which saw him perfectly healthy and he was getting scratched. He played with an QB that can feed any WR, but couldn't get it to him for some odd reason.

I'm not high on Pryor anymore, especially after watching him struggle immensely with Washington.

Nathan Zegura on the radio basically confirming the Browns are going for Carlos Hyde

Why would the Raiders cut Crabtree? Hasn't he been pretty solid the past few years?
