Your 2018 Cleveland Indians

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Lol, Boobie makes sense with that one. If Indians truly have championship aspirations, then Meija wont be catching when you have 2 legitimate game manager's/defensive catchers already on team.

I'm actually intrigued that the Indians see tremendous talent in Meija enough to throw him in the OF and see what gives. Tito loves players who can play different positions.

But yeah, we're in no position to experiment with Meija behind the plate controlling the strength of our team. As much as i want to see him play every single day and grow into a allstar, I have to accept the fact that it's not time yet. At least behind the plate. Not when this team is set in their way already and know who's job is what, and what it takes to finish.

Big frown on Cleveland fan's face at the same time, he gone.
I wonder what it would take to get even one more year out of him and if the they're willing to do it

Imagine what kind of A1 prospects we get for him when we deal him in a few years. Maybe a Sizemore, Phillips, Lee type deal.

I'm sure this has already been asked in this section and I apologize in advance, but what exactly is Lindor's contract status? How much longer is he under the Indians' control?

Buster Olney wrote a piece today about this year's slow FA market and a potential work stoppage scaring some younger players into locking in long term money (the very top players like Harper and Lindor being the exception).

I'm still willing to hold out some hope for keeping Lindor, especially if the moneyball trend continues. Anyone else?
