2018 NBA Draft - June 21

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Doncic fits the team like a glove I think. What position does he play? I am just not sure. Do you start Lebron at PF and Doncic at the 3?

Ideally they need another primary ball handler who can create shots and that's exactly what he does. I think he'd play the 2. Funny, I could see Ty Lue starting JR over Doncic lol.

I'm really torn if we get the top pick about what we need?

We need to take the short guy who grabs his crotch. No brainer!

Okobo flirted with a triple double today...14 points, career-high 8 boards, and 7 assists. His team squeaked into the playoffs as an 8th seed in spite of losing, so he'll have a chance to continue this run of strong play for at least a little bit longer.

He looks great right? Super heady, shifty and understands the PnR game at a high level. He has some Harden in him

Yeah, I'm having to rework my theory on him. Was thinking of him as more of a combo/scoring guard than a real point guard, but that's changed in the last few weeks. He's actually now top-10 in the French league in assist rate after posting 7, 8, 8, 8, and 7 assists in his last five games. That's a major development for a guy who averaged just 1.5 assists per game in a minor bench role last season, and a modest ~4 assists per game as a starter for most of this season.

It’s number 8 boys.

1. Phx - Ayton
2. Sac - Doncic
3. Atl - Bagley
4. Mem - JJJ
5. Dal - Bamba
6. Orl - Young
7. Chi - Porter
8. Cle- ???

Not that it matters what the order is before our pick, but every permutation I imagine involves Ayton, Doncic, Bagley, Bamba, Porter and JJJ being gone. I guess it’s possible that a team “reaches” unexpectedly but no elite talent will be there. Pretty sure recent success stories like Embiid will embolden a team to take MPJ. Wouldn’t surprise me if he went top 3.

I guess Miles Bridges.

Under no circumstances would I take Sexton. After that, I'm ok with taking whoever falls.

Keep or trade, keep or trade?

Fuck. So many good players, so many good assets available in trades.
