2019 NBA Draft

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Killian Tillie's body is problematic as a front court player. He should be picked in the 20's or late teens.

Bol Bol and Porzingis are not a like. Bol Bol is a plodding big that will never be a able to play PF. There is a reason why you don't see players with his body type succeed in the NBA, especially when they move like that. I also don't love the form on his jumper, but that holds no weight on my evaluation of him as par as his projection.

Bol Bol will get pushed around in the NBA and will not be able to put on the weight to compensate.

I think you are forming your views on Bol Bol just through watching his highlights.

I think Tillie has a pretty ideal body for a modern 4 with good enough feet to switch 2-4.

Bol Bol will absolutely get pushed around in the paint, which is why it makes sense to pair him with a guy like Zizic (sort of like how the Knicks paired Porzingis with Kanter, though Zizic projects to be more versatile than Kanter in the long run). Bol would focus on shot blocking while Zizic focuses on rebounding, so both are playing to their strengths. If he shoots the 3 well in college, I think he'll rightly go top-10 in this draft.

I just don't see how Bol Bol will be able to defend the perimeter or be quick enough to cover so much space as a weak side shot blocker. He can jump, but he can't move laterally or is quick twitch to cover a lot of space quickly.

To be honest, i'm not that knowledgeable about this draft, so I can't comment on the overall talent pool and compare I'm to the rest, but I know that Bol Bol will face significant issues in the NBA.

Really want to come away from this draft with a SF or an athletic PF. Even a tall SG is good for me.

I certainly don't think he's a perfect prospect...but i think he can be adequate defensively in the right situation, and that's enough for me if his outside shot is as good as advertised.

Great looking prospect....reminds me a lot of Luol Deng with his size, fluidity, defense and shot. Luol wasn't 230 lbs as an 18 year old though...much more slender.
I can sorta see that ?

His competitiveness and ferocity and athleticism has me thinking he’s more along the lines of Tom Chambers...

I’d have to see him in much tighter and smaller shorts to give any type of intelligible comparison to Tommy Chambers.

My absurdly early favorite prospect in this draft is Nas Little.

My favorite part about him outside of the competitiveness and fire...you watch his tape and wonder how broken his jumper is with the way he constantly attacks the rim...and then he shoots and it’s actually pure.

If the Cavs front office fell in love with Sexton’s drive and meteoric rise through hard work, Nas Little will give them that exact same vibe.

I wouldn't call his jumper pure, it's been a definite weakness of his to date. He has made improvements though.

Same with his motor, it was super inconsistent until his senior season. Hopefully something finally clicked, but we'll see.

Maybe not pure just yet (starting to look that way based on the AA game), but really pretty form that should make him an above average shooter in time IMO

I was just shocked that for a guy who was attacking the rim so relentlessly, he actually had really nice jumpshot mechanics. It's an awesome combination to have...a guy who can shoot but doesn't settle for the outside shot.

And his development over the last year indicates that he should hopefully keep improving rapidly throughout this season at UNC. Would love to get our hands on him. Combine his competitiveness with Sexton/Cedi/Nance, and you're well on your way to developing a fantastic culture of playing hard consistently.

He's clearly a great prospect, but I think you're a little too high on his jumper. He shot under 30% from the behind the arc and under 70% at the FT line last year in the Adidas Gauntlet (Their version of Nike's EYBL).

If we draft RJ Barrett #1 overall, I’m hoping we can benefit by also hiring his Steve Nash, who is his godfather, away from the Warriors.

Nassir clamping up Zion in the McDonald All-American game had me dreaming of him in a Cavs Jersey. He’s gotten the cursed Kawhi label so hopefully he’s able to break it. Cam is another guy who I think fits perfectly next to Sexton as others have mentioned. Nassir Little on UNC vs Duke’s trio should be fun (I’ll be rooting for the underdog)

I’m liking the silky smooth shooting Romeo Langford as well. He has some two way potential as well with his 6’11 wingspan as a 6’6 guard. He doesn’t have an explosive first step but he reads the game and body mechanics well to move fluidly around his opponents. He has the craftiness of SGA when finishing below the rim but can finish over people in traffic when needed. I’m glad he stayed in his home state of Indiana as I’ll be able to watch most of his games.

And his name is Nas. Which is enough.

Nas little reminds me of a bigger latrell spreewell. He's got the motor the defense a bit of a jumper and a love of 2 hand dunks

Romeo is one of my favorites as well. However, he's going to need to prove it in college in regard to his shooting. He also struggled with his shot during the Gauntlet. I'm struggling to find the sure shooting prospect I want at the moment, so hopefully that guy will reveal himself over the next year.
