I was watching some World Cup play and he was playing really hard. I think he is trying to be a good sportsman and not just totally dominate them in every aspect. He is working on his 3 pt shooting instead while just outscoring them.

Now watch a full game of 2015 and 2017 eurobasket and compare. He looks like a different player.

I was actually recording some gifs of how he played in 2015/2017.

Yeah he is being the best player on the floor effortlessly.

True. We still don't know the extent of the LeLethargy until we see him play in the NBA.

He does look less quicker to me though. Definitely stronger, much more controlled and obviously a better shooter.

I think he is playing with a level of control I wouldn't have expected when I first saw him. It may not be frenetic, but he is using his anticipation to make things happen. When I see him jump out of the way right at the rim, I will start to worry. He has something to prove this year. I doubt he starts his 2nd year in the NBA by not playing D.

Cedi is not going to get lazy overnight. He is a month away from the most important season in his career. I have to think he's playing to avoid injury somewhat

Even though he hasn't played much in the last season, he had a pretty busy summer. Flying like a bird over oceans back and forth is tiring. That's why i can understand why he won't show a lot of effort, as long as it's not needed. He definitely evolved as a player. He looks so much more mature just in 1 year, its impressive. He scored 20ppg without really doing much.

I know it's fucked up, but i'm tired of not understanding turkish.

I started learning turkish, and so far it's not very hard. Although your phrase/sentence structure is messed up.

Don't give up! Imagine one day you meet Cedi and you can speak to him in Turkish. Dream about how impressive that's gonna be. When Cedi surpasses Lebron in all categories, Turkish will be the taught at schools anyway :)

What languages do you speak, understand? I can teach Turkish in exchange for Greek for example.

Spanish, Portuguese, English and some French

This looks like a huge waste of time. I could learn Mandarin or some shit. Buuuut I have to understand what Cedi says in turkish interviews.

Well, then you'll have to be happy with our translations, which we will be happy to provide.

PS: Turkish is fun to learn!

Are people more excited for Cedi than they were for Turkoglu? What's the perception right now?

Different times. Different perspectives. Türkoğlu was like a door opener for guys like Cedi. But he is right now the most popular BB Player in Turkey because of his personality mainly. And he has a lot of groupies unfortunately lol.

What do you guys think his ceiling is? Do you think he can be a real star in the NBA?

A lot of people said he could be a good roleplayer, but even when I watch viceos of him when he is young, he is just always making an impact. His weaknesses like absorbing contact, shooting, and turnovers have all been areas he has really improved on as well.

Seems like he has a good handle on his weaknesses and chooses to work on them very hard.
