LeBron James

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Did anyone see Richard Jefferson and Channing Frye roast Lebron about the passing MJ thing? It was hilarious!!! Those two gave him a shout out on camera but were saying things like:

Frye: “this accomplishment shows lebrons insistence on hogging the ball”
“Doesn’t pass just dribbled the air out the ball”
“If I shot 15 times a game I would’ve passed mike too”
“Took him long enough...was is this? His 19th year already?”

Jefferson: “ahh big deal. Why don’t you pass Stockton in assists? Or Kareem’s
Total points? How about that?!”
“If I played long enough I would’ve passed mike too”
“Nah but congrats! It could’nt have happened to a better guy...except me or him (points to Channing)”

They were very obviously just busting his balls as friends often do to each other.

His in mins restriction mode now and no b2b. Finally waving the white flag He got his wish to make movies with cartoons and play for the sorry ass lakers. Currently I'm out and about and posted this on my phone but if anyone can photoshop Magic's head or his dumb ass agent head over Andy's that would be great.

Lmao what

Exactly, for all of the largely deserved criticism Bron is getting over the Lakers' malaise right now, and for all the past, again often to some degree deserved, criticism over "destroying basketball" and there "never be[ing] rivalries anymore" with his "superteaming," he's nowhere near the worst on the second count.

He most certain't didn't "start it" nor was "just as bad" as KD at "destroying basketball," for all the tortured comparisons that are made to argue that, for instance; there have been non-homegrown superteams of varying degrees dating back to at least the old Celtics and Showtime. For that matter, even Steph Curry is arguably worse in that the biggest reason GSW's superteam even started was that Dell bullied Minnesota into not drafting him, and the team had an incredible lucky streak in him being far below market value until very recently.

Bird, Magic and MJ played with the teams that drafted them except for MJ late when he didnt win shit.

Parrish came with the swap of #1 & #3 pics - GSW took Joe Barry Carroll, Celtics took McHale.

Jabbar forced a trade. Shaq moved.

LeBron and Bosh joining Wade for less money was unprecedented. That was a player-driven transaction. He absolutely started it, so he's the last person who can complain about KD.

Curry not wanting to go to Minn makes that a super team move is ridiculous. Klay and Green weren't existing stars on that team. Minn under Kahn was a shitshow.

Other than that, your post was accurate.

Yeah, "super teams" have existed for a long time. Just go back to the 80s and look at those Celtics and Lakers team. Full of future hall of famers. Even when Lebron went to Miami, they had their share of struggles. Losing to Dallas in the 2011 finals. Going to 6 games against Indiana and 7 against Boston in 2012. Going 7 games against Indiana and San Antonio in 2013. Going 6 games against Indiana and losing in the finals to the Spurs in 2014. It wasn't a forgone conclusion who would win when Lebron was in Miami. The NBA was still fun to watch. People who hated Lebron got to see him struggle and get embarrassed in 2011. Golden State has had 1 series in the past two years go further than 5 games. Half of their rounds have been sweeps. It's hard to get into for fans of basically every other team.

Lmao JVG just said lakers should think about trading LeBron and Lakers Twitter seems to be all for it. Lakers fans don’t deserve good things.

Durant was the worst, most cowardly "super team" move of all time and everyone gets to complain about it, including Lebron and all of us. What is there to say about joining the already existing Finals superteam that just beat your team and is by consensus already one of the top teams of all time? Totally and completely different from going to join your friend on a second rank team. The year before Lebron went there the Heat barely made the playoffs and got thrashed in the first round.

I don't disagree with JVG though. The Lakers chemistry won't be fixed till they get rid of the young players and reload the roster with different vets around LeBron or they get rid of Lebron and commit to their young core.

Whichever way they go there aren't getting equal return on their assets. They already gave up Zubac and Randle for basically nothing. Ingram is going to be a restricted free agent in the summer of 2020 and I don't think he is doing them any favors in terms of extending or getting a contract that they can match and trade in the future.

They have to weight what is best for their organization. If they don't get a big free agent this summer then how is LeBron actually going to win a championship with them. Are they more likely to get a free agent with LeBron or without him. I just think star players have better long term option to pick who they will be paired with other than Lebron.

Now players see what LeBron future looks like, injured for periods of the regular season and a guy that isn't willing to carry the heavy load for most of the regular season. What star out there is willing to carry the heavy load to get the Lakers to the playoffs in the regular season so LeBron can shine in the playoffs?

Trade to Thunder for future firsts when Westbrook and Bron will be done.

Thunder get 2 years to win it all.

Lakers get to suck and get talent thru draft, then when they get good w their own picks, they will have FA and Thunder picks to make a proper title run.

I think LeBron could help the Thunder or the Rockets but I don't think it's likely he is going to a franchise he doesn't give approval first. I actually bet if they start talking about trading him, he will start putting out there that he is thinking of retiring or take a year or two off.

Even though he doesn't have a no trade clause, he can make it real hard for the Lakers to find a destination for him. His value might be just slightly higher than Melo's value was when he went from the Knicks to the Thunder.

What has become apparent is that the Cavs organization and Gilbert were always looked as screwed up when lbj was the there. Well, they never looked as bad as the Lakers do now. What a shit show in LA.

What is the common denominator in all the Chaos? Lebron? I give Riley credit he was the only one to ever tell Lebron to STFU. Now had Wade and Bosh not been there I don't think that would have flown, but it did. The thing with the Lakers is he didn't even put pressure on them with 1+1s, but the league knows the Lakers are desperate and have a ticking clock to compete.
