WWE/NXT/AEW/NJPW Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Really polarizing episode. Sounds like you either hated it or loved it.

I enjoyed Owens at the start.. Nothig else really did it for me.. Just felt like it was lazy writing.. Everyone is entitled to their opinion.

I was really surprised to see the reviews it got.. I didn't find it entertaining at all but I'm glad others loved it..

With my new watching method Iv pretty much loved every RAW since the last PPV.

Maryse showing perfect form.

AJ looked like Spider-Man on those ropes. I thought he flubbed the fall out the ring though . his feet came down to fast. but that was more instinct and natural reflex than anything.

nice booking on the Corbin Ambrose feud. that will be a good title match for wrestlemania.

About time Crews started fighting back.

Miz sneaking back in to eliminate Cena was predictable but its always great to se Cena fail.

Harper is over with the Crowd.

I kinda like the royal promos from guys who you knew would not be winning.

Owens promo was good to start

Gallagher segment was good

After that, it was a whole lot of I don't care until Samoa Joe attacked

I turned it off before the main event because I had no desire to watch Big Show wrestle

BUT!

what if he wrestled.......

THIS GUY!?

Sucks for Naomi that she had to drop the title so soon after winning it. I've always thought she was underrated as a performer. Great athlete, although her finisher was an awful product of the Diva's division (although I think she's changed it to a submission now). She's also one of the hottest women on the roster, which was something that obviously mattered to Vince during the Diva days, so I always found it a bit baffling that she never got any title runs.

Really looking forward to Harper/Styles. Harper's great at working with smaller guys due to his indie days, so I expect a fantastic match from those two. It's also nice to see Smackdown finally giving Harper some love. He's never really gotten much of a chance to go off and showcase himself despite being a great in-ring guy.

I'm also really, really hoping that Raw pulls the trigger on the Triple H NXT stable that includes Owens and Joe, and that Owens retains his title as a result of that. It's a great potential story that we've been predicting for ages and it'd be awesome for Raw to actually establish a couple of strong heels who are always a threat to win. One of the reasons the Attitude Era did so well was because the faces had heels like that to overcome rather than the modern strategy where they feed heels to Cena or Reigns right as they are gaining momentum and then those two completely cut their balls off.

live show in Germany.
— United States Champion Chris Jericho came out on crutches and with a neck brace. Owens interrupted Jericho’s promo and attacked him.

— No Holds Barred WWE Universal Championship Match: Match: Kevin Owens (c) defeated Roman Reigns via Rollup. Braun Strowman interfered. Post-Match, Strowman tried to powerslam Reigns through a table. Reigns countered and put Strowman via Spear through the table.

Hopefully we get to see that Monday or after fastlane.

btw I recommend if you haven't done so already check out George the Animal Steeles website.

There is a great story where give a biography on his wrestling career

I was thinking...the perfect guy to call up to be in the Triple H stable with Joe and Owens is Chris Hero. Three fat guys who are known for kicking an abundance of ass. Also, Hero doesn't really even need to be in NXT.

I would be interested in a heel vs face NXT call up matchup. Loyalty vs the good guys. So there's enough talent for an all out war, that ends in the good guys turning heel on the main roster guys just for shits... Haha

It'd be a great twist if Balor came back as a heel aligned with Triple H. Maybe he shows up at Fastlane, but instead of attacking Owens, he helps him retain.

I'd love that but Raw has almost no faces, and the one they're pushing on us is THE WORST. Balor should be a heel eventually.

Yeah, agreed. I also think it'd be kind of a waste to bring him back heel since he's so over.

They really need to push Zayn harder. Probably the second best in-ring guy in the company after Styles and the fans like him. I know he's an underdog and thus can lose some, but he should be an upper-mid to main event guy.
