The Brian Hoyer thread...

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Hoyer would be on IR if he were still here.

I mean we have every qb that has taken a snap with some sort of injury.

What do you think he could have done to avoid being broken in half?

Hoyer always got the ball out pretty fast, much faster than our QB's this season. He might have made it to week 10.

Off to pick up a 49ers onesy for my baby. Shits been on clearance at Target for over a year.

49ers have come to the realization they can't get Kirk Cousins this year. They are signing Brian Hoyer to be the starting QB and Matt Barkley to be the backup. The Browns will NOT have the worst QB situation in the league next year.

Yeah, I see Max slapped a disagree on this and I can't completely disagree. Right now the Browns have assets, Brock Osweiler, and Kessler. I don't think RG3 will be around for that huge bonus. That ain't good in terms of quarterback.

Everyone in the Bay has told me, "Hoyer's numbers are good but I watched that Texans playoff game. He was brutal ". I can't disagree, it was a pressure situation and he looked bad. It's also important to note Hoyer's passing got them to the playoffs. Last season, Hoyer put up top 10 numbers until he broke his non-throwing arm. Yes, you read that correctly. He was up there with the great Jimmy Garoppolo.

So the Niners have a bridge QB and a legit backup. They might grab a project QB in the draft or might wait for Cousins in 2018, but that's a very good situation in my eyes.

Could it happen Sunday?
