Figured this deserves its own thread seeing as there were a ton of major reveals.

Looks like someone is finally making a capable follow-up to that PS2 Spider-Man game. Only took like twenty damn years. :chuckle:

This actually looks really cool. I feel like Assassin's Creed hasn't given us a truly iconic location since the Italy games starting with AssCreed 2. It's been a lot of pretty boring locales since then. Granted, I haven't played the newest one in Egypt yet and it did look cool. But man, Athens...that's gonna be awesome. The sailing looks super cool too. Looks like they're adding in more RPG elements as well, like choosing conversation options. And you can choose whether you play as a man or a woman, both of which are fully voice-acted.

I hope they ditch the current day story entirely, though, because I feel like that element hasn't really offered anything of value in about six games.

I mean, this is a day one buy right?

Kinda looks like a more realistic take on Sea of Thieves, although it looks like each player captains an entire ship Assassin's Creed style.

Looks pretty awesome, and a somewhat refreshing setting as well.

Feel free to post any other trailers here.

Ghost of Tsushima looks absolutely beautiful! I also really liked the one with Norman Reedus.

Dying Light 2 was another notable.

Only disappointments for me: Starfield and ES6 look like next gen games. Also, Metroid Prime 4 absent and Bloodborne 2 not announced.

But really one of the best E3s in recent memory.

I skipped AC Origins but I think I will play Odyssey. Really not sure how it relates to the AC story anymore, in all honesty, but I’ve been away from the series for awhile.

Cyberpunk absolutely looks like it’ll be day one. CDPR has earned my trust with Witcher 3.

I do want to play Origins, mostly because I heard Ubisoft took a lot of cues from Witcher 3 and made the sidequests meaningful stories. It seems like the series is veering more toward RPG gameplay than the kind of clumsy action-adventure-parkour games that have come before. I like that. It seems a good fit for this franchise since, at least in past games, you were literally playing as someone role-playing as a (fictional) historical figure.

Last lights y axis had a different sensitivity than the x axis which was unplayable for me.

Played it on PC so it wasn't an issue for me, or at least not a deal-breaking one. I've found both Metro games to be pretty clunky as shooters, though. I play them for the fantastic atmosphere and solid story more than the gameplay, which improved a great deal in Last Light with better stealth but still wasn't really amazing or anything.

Yeah, it’s like that on the pc. There might be a fix out there now, but it was pretty dumb that it wasn’t something you can change in the settings.

I liked the first metro game awhile ago. My favorite game from those guys is the first stalker... At least I think those guys are responsible for that series.

Yeah, i'm really looking forward to dying light 2. The story was weak in the first game, but it was a lot of fun, and the entire campaign can be played with a friend or random online people. They seemed tp have remedied the weaker story by bringing in Chris Avellone:

"As Avellone explained during the presentation, however, Dying Light 2's world will change radically depending on decisions you make. In one example, the player is tasked with tracking down some water smugglers by a faction known as the Peacekeepers. If they choose to kill the smugglers, the Peackeepers will use this valuable resource to help repopulate a district of the city, helping establish a more ordered presence for the survivors there. If the player instead helps the smugglers, they'll sell the water on the black market and the district will fall victim to bandits and other seedy types. Both choices were accompanied with a visible change in the look of the city."
