I tend to lean towards Ja with the vision of a lillard McCollum type combo with sexton, but obviously not over Zion.I know never to look a "Gift horse in the mouth" but I feel bit more pensive about drafting Ja Mourant and RJ Barrett over the main prize everyone wants in Zion.
It feels more so that Zion and Sexton would be a decent base to build around.
I'm not as sure how the other two would look alongside Sexton? I don't know.
Again. Gift Horse. I would be happy with any of the three, picking in the top 3.
This is exactly what I envision too.I tend to lean towards Ja with the vision of a lillard McCollum type combo with sexton, but obviously not over Zion.

Would bol bol even drop to our second pick? maybe they should package the Houston pick with a second and move up.1-6 and 26 is pretty solid.
Would not be surprised if they buy another pick by taking on additional salary for J.R.
Anything less than a top 3 pick is going to require gambling on a high upside low floor player to get the value that's at the top 3.
But there are a couple of decent higher floor starter level options like Hunter,Culver or Clarke if they want to play it safe in that 4-6 range.
I hope they don't play it safe & instead gamble on Bol,Hayes,KP Jr.,Reddish,or Kabengele becoming significantly better in the NBA.
At 26 you either want a high ceiling low floor player along the lines of Jalen McDaniels or Lugentz Dort that drops in your lap, or a proven role player like Schofield,Claxton or Fernando
See what JR’s contract can bring us. Boston has 3-4 picks and they don’t want/need that many rookies when they are trying to get to the NBA finals.Would bol bol even drop to our second pick? maybe they should package the Houston pick with a second and move up.
I expect the 2nd or 3rd pick. I just can't see the NBA giving the Cavs ANOTHER number 1 pick. That said, the 2nd or 3rd selection was about where I saw the Cavs ending up last October so the tank succeeded in that regard.
Ok so I Googled it
I feel like the odds of this coin flip actually mattering are really really low.
They are but I rather have pick 6 be the basement than pick 7 as low as those odds are.
Or pick 5 be a better shot than 6 if NY gets top 4.

I would love to get Zion but he would also be the guy who we would have to change the roster the most for. To make sure he develops properly and we get the most out of him, he will need to be paired with stretch 4/5s. Basically Love becomes the only big on the roster he could play with untill Zion gets a consistent 3 point shot.
TT, Nance, Henson, and Chriss all becomes even harder to be used as rotation players. I think Zizic becomes the backup center who just give us a different look but he also becomes hard to play with Zion.
Also with Zion I think we have to find a player with good vision to feed Zion easy looks. I do think Zion and Sexton can play together but I think you need a guy who can set up the half court offense for Zion and Sexton.
Zion is a unique talent that is worth making whatever changes though. I do think any other player we draft is more plug in and let them grow with Sexton, Cedi, and Zizic.
what 2nd pick the 26th??? of course he won't be there, not sure how you got that from my statement.Would bol bol even drop to our second pick? maybe they should package the Houston pick with a second and move up.
