2012 Draft

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Seeing Moultrie play tough inside the other night got me thinking, I wonder who the Cavs would have taken had they not swapped 3 picks for Zeller..

With or without a few months of hindsight, are there any 3 players that could have been taken in our draft positions (24, 33, 34) that would have convinced you not to make that trade?

Zeller looks like a good get. But who should the Cavs have taken had Dallas not been interested in that trade?

I would rather have Waiters, PJIII, Miller and Lamb than Waiters and Zeller...just my opinion

we were never bringing in 4 rookies maybe 3 but not 4. Didnt perry jones drop cause docters said he can only play 5 season? that does us no good

some team doctors hold the belief that he could eventually require surgery on his meniscus. nobody specifically mentioned a career length, and the concern wasn't among the entire nba.

Yet our training camp roster has Dion Waiters, Tyler Zeller, Michael Eric and Kevin Jones on it...hmmmm...I count 4 rookies there...

Only difference is, these four guys are two 1st rounders and two undrafted free agents. The Cavaliers had two 1st round picks and two 2nd round picks going into the draft. Chris Grant turned #s 4, 24, 33 and 34 into #s 4, 17 and two 60+ picks.

Shouldn't have came to this thread, I totally erased the fact that we could have had Moultrie, Miller, and Lamb instead of Zeller from my memory. Now I'm angry all over again!:(

Overview of how the 2012 draft picks are doing so far. Zeller is named as playing well but having a low ceiling. Andrew Nicholson and Sullinger being called the steals of the draft (this is an ORL writer, btw). Austin Rivers the biggest disappointment. Lots of these guys have ducked down to the D-League (Kendall Marshall) or just haven't gotten opportunity yet (ie Perry Jones behind Durant). This whole article has "premature" written all over it, but- it's January.
