I understand this isn't exactly a groundbreaking contribution to this thread but I just wanted to share a thought: Paul Richardson is really talented. I'm a big fan of his -- he has speed, runs good routes etc. He catches with his body at times but I don't think it's too big an issue. I feel he'd be a really nice Pairing with Gordon. Not sure where he is slated to go but I didn't know about him because Colorado is basically a wasteland as far as a football program is concerned.

I've been paying a bit more attention to receiver prospects since Bess has basically gone off the deep end and Little isn't making the progress we had hoped to see.

I'm also a big fan of Odell Beckham. Consistent separation, adequate sped for downfield routes, excellent hands.

Richardson and Beckham are two of many really intriguing secondary weapons at the WR position available in this draft.

Jordan Matthews - Vandy
Brandin Cooks - Ore. St.

All four of those guys are interesting looks for a team needing a second WR.

Saw OB play live in the Outback bowl, and he looked great in wamp ups, and had one great one handed catch. The back up QB for LSU was very raw, so he did not get as many targets as he should have.

I like Cooks in round 2.

They locked this report down in January, so you know it's legit!

If true, it's really unfortunate that Shurmur isn't here anymore. Could you imagine Johnny operating the WCO? Ah well, Eagles really stole one from us there. Guess we'll have to muddle through some other way.

The "it" factor.

Throw out the scouting report.

I feel like you need to be quiet about our love for Manziel because he has the "it" factor.

I call it the Shhh-"it" factor.

My love is bordering on Weeden-esque.

Although I still think Brandon was the more polished thrower coming out.

Watkins, Hyde, then grab Mettenberger later. Let Hoyer start next year.

I hate the thought of pigeon-holing themselves into what they want, and I'm sure they'll play along with the "we want Manziel" schtick right up until the draft.

But they have to get a QB. Sammy Watkins is a fine prospect, but you can't justify taking a second WR that high.

It's Bridgewater, Bortles or bust...for me. One of them will be there, both have all the necessary skills to develop into a franchise QB. Pair them with an innovative offensive mind like Gase, or Kyle Shanahan as an OC under Quinn, and go to work.

I think there's a decent chance Bridgewater and Bortles are gone by our pick. They are the only two qb's I'd take that high.

I'm extremely confident Watkins will be a really good pro. Don't forget, we are only one drug test away from losing Gordon for the year. Hoyer played effectively before getting hurt, and I actually like Mettenberger as a prospect later on.

Give Hoyer a shot with Gordon, Cameron, Hyde, and Watkins, and see what he can do. If Bortles or Bridgewater are there, take em. But I have a feeling they are both gone.

They've got the picks, go get one of them.

I can't tell you how little I like Mettenberger. There is almost nothing draftable about him outside of arm strength.

You just can't invest another season in marginal talent at QB and hope for the best. You've got (another) chance to add a top notch QB prospect into your organization, you just can't pass on it again.

Hoyer was wonderfully mediocre for a few games but we still need to get our long-term prospect. Watkins is fantastic, but there are lots of appealing wideout prospects that can be had at later spots.
