Ibaka does not move the needle for a Tor Cle matchup and long as we have Bron and Kyrie... Toronto simply cannot guard either of them and have nobody to put on either of them.
It only moves the needle for bstthe for 2nd place supremacy Bos/Wash/Tor
I actually think Love out hurts us most against Washington. Not enough to make it a legit series but still. Luckily, he'll be back!
It is like you said Ibaka plays like a 30 year old and he will help but he will not make a difference when it matters. They made that move out of desperation and it shows. They gave in and in no way was it a bad move but it will not make them contenders alone.

No reason not to do the deal, right?

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't Love have a history of dominating Serge Ibaka, going back to his Minnesota days?
I know that John Wall has received some All Star selections, but I still think he is underrated. This guy is an elite athlete, one of the few point guards that can really play defense, and just is a truly gifted passer. He routinely throws anticipatory cross court passes with pinpoint accuracy like LeBron does. Wall and CP3 are the last of a dying breed of dominant pass-first point guards (in the vein of say Jason Kidd or John Stockton). I don't think he is quite on the level overall of Westbrook/Harden/Curry/CP3 just yet, but he really isn't that far off if you consider his overall impact.
