I actually like their match up vs GSW if they can grab that 8 spot. Boogie & AD will eat GS alive.

-Boogie was there for 7 seasons and the team never amazed.

He's hated Cousins for years. The trade and shit teams around him all are the organizations fault. Not one draft pick since he's been there is serviceable. All high lotto misses. They haven't spent wisely in FA.

The Kings absolutely deserve the shit show they're about to be for the enemy few years. They better prey to God they hit in the lotto.
 
I think the fact that there are still players on old contracts makes the new contracts look so ridiculous, that the settling of money hasn't happened yet. Once all the old contracts go, it will be different, but right now max contracts for those guys with Max talent, but less ideal heads like DMC are going to be a tough pill to swallow. Interesting. There is not any value in a max contract because old contracts are around and will be really hard to move for the next couple of years.
 
Speaking of unintended consequences of the trade....the Sixers may just be the biggest beneficiaries of it by owning the Kings' 2019 first round pick. IF Embid can remain healthy, the future is quite rosy for them. They'll definitely be throwing some big $ in the offseason at some guards.
 
If you are trying to tank, how can you trade away Casspi?

He's a proven tank commodity.
 
Looks like Kings will waive Matt Barnes....interesting guy to keep an eye on. He would be an interesting addition as a guy who can play the 3 and 4, decent shooter, and adds some toughness.

So a kings fire sale? Nice here's hoping that the Cavs can grab a few parts to strenthen the team.
With such a huge move there is gonna be a lot of fallout. Here's hoping we get some of the better talents before any of our rivals
 
Also on a non basketball related note I hope cousin's and his brother stay out of night club fights. N.o. has a pretty intense rep and a hot headed high profile athlete and his family would be a juicy target for some people.
