2016-2017 Around The NBA

Could he make his intentions any more obvious? :chuckle:
Poor Pacers. Indiana is such a basketball state, I hope they can find another franchise leader.

Move (by itself) doesn't do shit for the Lakers, though.

Now Paul George and Jimmy Butler? Or Paul George and Blake Griffin (if he'd be willing to abandon the Clippers but stay in the same city :chuckle:)? Maybe that'd be something around Randle, D'Angelo and Lonzo Ball.

What are the chances we see the #1 AND #2 picks traded for superstars this offseason?

I would assume both the Celtics and Lakers would prefer to have either George or Butler, and if you're the Bulls or Pacers, could you possibly fetch a better start to your rebuild than Fultz/Ball?

I think it's a given that George is moved for one of these picks, and I think it is a decision the Bulls should make, even though they'd be extremely reluctant to. Chicago did show signs of being willing to move on from this group though when they traded Gibson and McDourmott.

George to the Lakers and Butler to Boston makes a lot of sense for everyone possibly involved.

I don't think the Celtics would have to give up the #1 pick. They could trade Brooklyn's 2018 pick with a couple of young guys and the Bulls or Pacers won't get a better offer.

Good question...

As I follow the Lakers, living out here and Hawaii that's the team obviously, I gotta say I don't think the Lakers will trade the pick unless it will net them Paul George or Jimmy Butler and EVEN THEN, I think the Lakers are totally fine with just getting either in free agency.

I think the only way the Lakers trade the pick is if Chris Paul signals he's willing to sign with the Lakers. I think then the Lakers would go balls to the wall for both Paul George and/or Jimmy Butler, and look to salary dump everyone else hoping to build around a core of Paul and some combination of George and Butler.

Ok in all seriousness of seriousness, who in the absolute fuck was that one 2nd team vote for LeBron? Take his credentials away. Has to be a Warrior honk because there's 1 vote for Westbrook as well which makes 1 for Curry. That dumbass thinks Curry and Durant are 1st team over LeBron and Russ.

I'd love to see the Lakers trade the #2 pick to Indiana plus stuff for George and have Lonzo in Indiana. Only to spit Lavar.

Wishful thinking. I'd love to see it, but it'll be dumb when PG can just sign there eventually.

Sadly, Lakers talent pool is rising. I hate LA. I'm happy they've been rebuilding for the last 5 years it seems. Deng and Mozgov were great signings.

Now that Hayward can't get the super max, Boston's options this Summer just grew quite a bit. They could easily sign him and trade for one of George/Butler.

Why do we care who the Celtics acquire? I mean seriously? They are an overrated team. They are a team full of role players who will have to be shipped out for any all star and two average all stars (IT, Horford) who won't move the needle vs us in the playoffs. I don't give a shit if they get Hayward, PG13, or Butler. They aren't beating us.

Also how the fuck is KD on any All NBA team and not CP3. They both missed games but CP3 was better this year than KD considering his supporting cast.
