I'd agree. I feel like Boston is going to find some way to get a bigger star there this offseason.
They better because I don't think the draft turned out the way they were hoping it would. Maybe it did, but didn't seem to have the buzz I assumed it would.

Well that makes like 8 stars that Boston is supposed to get.

What exactly does Boston have that someone would trade Cousins for?

If I had Cousins, no combination of their "solid" role players would get there.

Nets picks.

Well what does Sac even want? They need to rebuild and they need young talent. No one is willing to part with real young talent, and the best they can hope for is a package of middling talent from beantown.

Oh yeah I forgot about that. That’s a huge facilitator in a Boston deal.

So far I think Ainge has been unwilling to include the Nets picks as I think he feels or at least ESPN feels like he should be able to snag a star for peanuts.

But as the offseason goes on, I think Ainge will feel more and more pressure to add someone big and if Nets picks reach the table, Boston has the ammo to make a big move.

Boston has a lot. They own the rights to swap their draft pick with the Nets next year (which we know the Nets will be horrible). They also have their 2018 pick unprotected.

They can get what they want, if they part with these picks. They don't want to. They think just one of them, and one of their shitty ass overrated scrubs will do it.

Most self-entitled franchise I've ever seen in sports.

I honestly think he's been unwilling to include Crowder. Like I think most of the deals he was proposing last night were basically Avery Bradley, 3, and then some stiff off the bench.

I can't do justice to how overrated Crowder is among Boston fans. I saw a guy on a board yesterday say that Crowder was a top 20 player in the league. And he got a ton of people to agree with him!

They've still got a right to swap 2017 picks with Brooklyn no matter the drafting position, and the rights to Brooklyn's 2018 unprotected pick.
So, i mean, they've got a shit load for a rebuilding team. And then they have their own picks.

So, if I were the Kings and I was planning on moving on from Boogie, I'd do that. Basically what amounts to two Nets unprotected picks and then like Boston's 2017 1st rounder. Toss in Crowder and you've got a somewhat fair deal. Boston gets to keep Bradley and Smart to go along with Cousins, and Sacramento then, as payment, gets ALL of the best draft picks.

If true... WTF?

The Washington Wizards are prepared to make a major offer to Joakim Noah in free agency.

Washington will offer Noah a full maximum contract, according to the report.

Noah is coming off shoulder surgery that ended his season in January.

Noah is expected to leave the Chicago Bulls this offseason and they traded for Robin Lopez previously this week. A source said Noah has no intentions of re-signing with the Bulls and is ready to move on this offseason.

The New York Knicks, Minnesota Timberwolves and Milwaukee Bucks are also preparing major offers to Noah.

“If teams are convinced Noah is healthy, he will get a max deal, and Washington is panicking because Nene is done and they didn’t make the playoffs last season,’’ said one GM. “They’ll overpay for Noah — they always do.’’

edit: nevermind. false.
