Oklahoma City Thunder superstar Kevin Durant is planning to host free-agency meetings at a singular location starting July 1, league sources told The Vertical.

Boston Celtics, Golden State Warriors, Los Angeles Clippers, Miami Heat, San Antonio Spurs and Thunder, league sources said.

The meetings are expected to take place in New York, but teams are still awaiting word on a location.

The Thunder remain the frontrunners to re-sign Durant, likely on a one-plus-one-year deal that will allow Durant to return to free agency in the summer of 2017, league sources said. But more than any other rival suitor, the Warriors have Durant's attention, league sources said.

Durant’s public and private criteria for the free-agent selection process have pertained to a singular focus: the chance to win titles immediately.

Several teams that have interest in Durant – the Denver Nuggets, New York Knicks, Los Angeles Lakers, Houston Rockets and Washington Wizards – could still find audiences with him, but appear to be outsiders in the process now.

Durant is planning to leave on a publicity tour in the Far East on July 9, and a decision is expected before the departure date, league sources said.

With the increasing possibility that Mike Conley leaves Memphis, trading their pick for Mozgov (along with another pick) looks increasingly worse. Man that'd be a nice asset to have right now.

Moz was healthy and good in the Finals last year. Couldn't predict we'd lose both Love and KI.

I'd do that trade 100x over. It brought us so much more than just Moz.

The Denver Nuggets want Durant :chuckle::chuckle::chuckle:

Easily have become the Milwaukee Bucks of the western conference...

Don't underestimate San Antonio. Alrdrige, Kawhi, Durant is one hell of a core and then a ton of good roleplayer with a mix of vets and youth. Won't have to share nearly as many shots as in GS

I could definitely see him going to San Antonio.

He'd be their #1 option...

It'd be an interesting lineup.

I want Durant to go to SA so bad and more so if we lose to them in the Finals I won't want to harm anyone or myself.

I'd rather he stay the fuck in Oklahoma.. Or do something stupid like go to Miami or New York or Los Angeles.

But if he's smart, and he wants a ring.. Why not come to the championship team?

Yeah but he would be even more of a chaser and be kind of... a piece. I feel Durant wants to help a team not fit in. His style fits what SA does and a sleep team for him might be Portland.

Really? I mean I liked the trade at the time and Mozgov was great last year but he fell off a cliff this year, hardly got any meaningful playoff minutes, and we're probably gonna lose him in the offseason.

And what exactly did that trade bring us more than just Mozgov?

If he were to leave, San Antonio does make the most sense. They give him a chance to win a title. They beat the Spurs. So no one can literally say he's jumping ship.

I mean, Aldridge also left the Trailblazers to go there, no one cares. So why would anyone blast Durant for this move?

He'd clearly be the number one option there. Leonard would be the second.

If he were to leave, I hope that's where he goes. They'd be the favorites to come out of the West.

I think this would be fine for us. They'd beat GS probably, without being better than us.

I still think we'd beat the Spurs.

This off-season is gonna be so jacked up...he won't get it, but Courtney Lee is looking for $14M per season. I mean....my god...

Does that mean that Kawhi would always play the 2, and never the 3? And is that a good thing or a bad thing for Kawhi?

If Cousins is a team's best player, imo that team is going to exit early in the playoffs. Bad attitude, bad body language. The only way I see this guy really improving a team is if he goes somewhere where a big star can keep him in line. He's not a guy you want leading your team.
