2016 NBA Playoffs

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Am i the only one that wants to use Curry's mouth guard to give Curry a Dirty Sanchez?

Mods keep deleting posts referencing that on reddit

Dare anyone to find a post talking about currys mom's antics. Kehlani and iggy everywhere still.

It's almost like the press is being controlled and some stuff isn't able to get out. Who would've thought a billion dollar business tries to control is product

Is Reddit, of all places, scared of censorship or losing influence? That's scary...if the Mods are deleting that...

Other than the fact that I have to watch the Warriors for five games now, this is the best outcome. Will the NBA award us back-to-back championships after we win?

This is the year.

No, They won't. But, when the Cavs win, that thought will be in the back of every GS fan and player's mind... That if the Cavs were healthy last year they would have won it then too!

This. A thousand times this.

It honestly blows my mind that the casual fan has taken to them as their showboating antics are so over the top.

It was the same thing when Cam Newton was doing his thing the past season, having a blast showboating... while the team was winning. Come time when they were tested by a great defense, Cam shrunk and was exposed. Cam why didn't you go for the lost fumble???

I think GS is a team build for the regular season, and that they are the team that hasn't really been tested. They played and overcame OKC, that was great, but I would say that series was equal part OKC unraveling to GS wining.

Looking back it's fun when it's your team. But we did a lot of trash showboating in our 63 win 2009 season.

But GS takes it further this year. 10 more wins natural progression would be they go a little further but they showboat a lot. Curry and Green specifically. Don't really see anything crazy from anyone but those 2.

It's probably nothing and Curry has probably had the same demeanor his whole career but the way he looks at people on the court gives off the "I don't even have to play hard to beat you" vibe. I personally don't like that.

Green used to be a favorite player of mine this season but that's honestly because I see his highlights and think he's a tough great player. What the media doesn't show you on those highlights is his douche moments.

Iv watched damn near every GS game this playoffs and he's not a guy I want on the court. Dude is a douche bag and is not above doing bullshit to get over. And even worse he's 100% aware that the refs don't want to call fouls on him. Iggy is very aware of the respect given to him as well.

I mean when you kick a guys nuts twice and almost break his arm and still don't get ejected it becomes clear in your mind the refs simply aren't gonna touch you unless you literally punch someone in the face then IMMEADIATLY call him a bitch and YELL that you did it on purpose. Even with all that the refs may still only give a flagrant 1 lol

You make a good point about how they've brought the expectations up with more victories, yet becoming an unlikeable one at the same time. The best way to deal with that is to take it to them like they deserve. The Miami Heat squad in 2011 was very similar. Losing was the best way to figure it out, because they'd get the slice of humble pie and cut the shit out. They clearly were the more talented team, especially in the starting lineup, but karma eventually caught up to them.

And maybe they'll still win this year after all that, but that attitude will breed misfortune at some point. It was the same for the Celtics, having the ever-go-cocky Garnett win his first year with Pierce and Allen, but weren't able to ultimately keep up the dynasty.

Even with the favorable calls the Warriors are getting, it's not going to stop now most likely. But hard work and a good attitude WILL be rewarded. And even if it isn't, bad karma may eventually find its mark sooner or later.

But again, this is the team that broke a near-perfect regular season record as a well-oiled team with the right parts... much better than a one-trick-pony 66 win squad or a super-aged 62 win team (sorry, I had to do it, but you were close enough).

That probably had more to do with KG's broken leg in 09, Perk's blown knee in 10, and Miami's superteam than KG's "cocky" attitude.

IMHO, karma can come in all ways and forms. Including injuries.

Michael Jordan was the biggest asshole in the game. He won 6 titles and never lost in the finals.

Karma is finicky.

Umm but what about his pops? I just mean those who subscribe to karma would have to include non basketball related events. Maybe Draymond has had a lor of birds shit on him as he leaves the car or maybe his breakfast is soggy. It all adds up u know

Damn. That's cold.

The point I was trying to make is that karma only exists when we want it to. It's a way of tying two completely unrelated outcomes together to make sense of why things happen.

KG breaking his leg wasn't "karma" for his "cocky" attitude. KG is a cocky asshole AND he landed funny during a game and broke his leg. One didn't happen because of the other.

And for the record, I think @rabman_gold is an awesome poster. I just happen to disagree with his assertion that KG's attitude was tempting some hidden forces of nature and led to the downfall of the Celtics.

soggy bacon is the worst!

It from Canada right?
If I ordered bacon and got ham, my jumper would be off too. It's not due to the fact that my jumper has been off for years, can't put my finger on why my right arm is significantly stronger than my left...
