He supposedly has 7 teams left, Cubs, Dodgers, Giants, Mariners, Rangers, Padres!!!, and Angels.
Personally the Mariners or Angels could be a good fit. They both need a starting pitcher, but both do have a DH so his batting chances would be limited if he wanted to go that way. Those two teams are close to a wild card spot easily next season.
Giants and Padres make more sense when it comes to the fact its in the National League (more batting opportunities since he could pinch hit and whatnot as well on days he isnt pitching) Thats about 60 ABs right there, so its possible for him to get to 200 ABs in the national league. Problem is they are much farther away from the playoffs in a tough division in 17, and likely to stay that way in 18.
Cubs and the Dodgers are playoff teams, but the Cubs really do need another starting pitcher if they lose Lackey and Arrieta. Winning wise the Cubs may be the smartest move of the teams he has left. Dodgers have 5 starters plus Kazmir and McCarthey so they dont have a need for a starter so his opportunity there may not be a good one.
