2017-2018 Around the NBA

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
It hurts me to see Kyrie playing for the Celtics

Seems like he just never worked on his game...so much potential

Seriously WTF is that shit?

Why the dude just never realized he should just concentrate on the offensive on being the best PnR center in the game. He was just great at that in Orlando: just destroyed the Cavs on the roll or when defenses scrambled on the offensive glass.

Forget the post-ups, stick to the PnR and shoot those damn FT's underhanded

Nuggets are gonna score a lot of points this season...

I'd bet anything Ball is going to bust.. just obvious to me.
His shot is broken, he can't create in the half court, very little off-ball movement, lethargic on both ends of the floor and good defenses will make his willingness to pass his biggest problem.

Fox is going to be a stud for sure. It's not just his game, it's his character, he is intelligent and articulate and that coupled with his athletic ability just goes a long way.

Nets call timeout with 7:35 left in the first, trailing the Knicks 18-8. Hopefully this is an accurate indication of just how bad the Nets' D will be this year.

I'm a little excited for this OKC-Houston preseason game. Both of these teams are legit contenders.

Why did Kyrie never cut to the basket here?

It's preseason, so grain of salt and whatnot, but the Pelicans could be bad. Not bottom of the league bad, but not a playoff contender bad.

I've been saying it all summer. Paying all that money to Holiday was a mistake. They don't have the wings to make the playoffs in the West. Best wing player is E'Twann Moore. That's not good enough.

Think going after a cheaper point guard like Jeff Teague and then spending some money to get a decent wing would have been a much better choice.

A nice gesture by the Bulls:

Chicago, IL (AP) -A seven-year old boy was at the center of a Chicago courtroom drama yesterday when he challenged a court ruling over who should have custody of him.
The boy has a history of being beaten by his parents and the judge initially awarded custody to his aunt, in keeping with child custody law and regulation requiring that family unity be maintained to the highest degree possible.
The boy surprised the court when he proclaimed that his aunt beat him more than his parents and he adamantly refused to live with her. When the judge then suggested that he live with his grandparents, the boy cried and said that they also beat him.
After considering the remainder of the immediate family and learning that domestic violence was apparently a way of life among them, the judge took the unprecedented step of allowing the boy to propose who should have custody of him.
After two recesses to check legal references and to confer with the child welfare officials, the judge granted temporary custody to the Chicago Bulls, whom the boy firmly believes are not capable of beating anyone….
