2017-2018 Around the NBA

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Its early, but yea I think people who use to say John Wall was a better pg than Kyrie might have been right.

Kyrie just had the perfect situation of being an incredible fit next to the best player in the league.

Hell...maybe Celtics fans were right about IT being a better #1 option than Kyrie last year..:chuckle:

Would have been unreal..
Watching KD have to deal with LeBron and Giannis..
Some of their fans are already wondering that lol. "At least IT looked like he was trying."

I've watched Boston's Home streams so many times and still every time im amazed with how horrible the announcers are. Just non-stop bitching about calls more than your average fan even does.

I was cracking up though when Kyrie was just holding the ball in the corner and the one crazy announcer said "Cmon you cant just stand there!" and its only the second game

Not gonna put too much thought into Kyrie tonight. Second night of a back to back after basically their team's entire season changing. He was also prone to single digit for 25 games from time to time here

But I will say things have a chance to really snowball in Boston in a hurry. And that'd be fucking lovely

Even Jazz can't put a lid on that Nuggets offense. Jokic could easily average a triple double this season. What a fun team.

Being objective I don't think he looked healthy either. Might have tweaked something the other day.

That New Orleans roster just won't work. Been bitching about it all summer.

No reason to give Holiday all that money. They needed to prioritize shooting and wing defense. Not shot creation.

They were just screwed because they had a ton of wasted cap money invested in Asik/Moore/Solomon Hill that if they let Holiday walk, they had no way to replace him with anything worthwhile. But Holidays deal is just way to high for his overall skill level and impact.

In the West they could definitely be headed for the lottery.

Doesn't get much easier for Boston with Philly on Friday.

Kyrie gonna have a field day against Philly, their back court defense is really bad

I guess once they decided to trade for Cousins, you're all in.

So, to me, it was worth unloading Asik and including a good draft pick to do it. Light protection, or potentially even unprotected.

Imagine they do that and then they, not Detroit, absorb Avery Bradley.

And I know that's with hindsight, but that's what they needed to do. Take risks, cause they already took one with the Cousins move.

Just two games, but I'm seeing a few Celtics fans saying they're "without their best player"

IT or Hayward? hmm.

There will be a changing of the guard soon in the NBA...there are alot of good young players coming up and the older teams wont be able to keep up. Hope we can get 1 or 2 more titles before we are left behind in the dust.
