60 point triple double.James Harden just won it. We can wrap this up.
So Harden in the lead, but I'd say Davis is 2nd now? If they get a top 3 seed, and he rolls like this the last month, he may just get it no matter what Harden and the Rockets do.
I agree with the top 3...after that it's a crapshoot.I've got it ranked:
Harden
AD
LeBron
Lillard
DeRozan
Eh we all would have loved to see LeBron win another MVP but frankly the sight of him hoisting the FMVP while Harden walks away in defeat a la Curry would be beautiful (not that I give that a strong shot of happening.)I agree with the top 3...after that it's a crapshoot.
It's sad because LeBron absolutely could have won if he wasn't sabotaging games for a month plus. Oh well.

I'm not as big a believer in the Rockets as others around here, but the fact is that the Cavs beating them in a 7-game series would be as historically improbable as us coming back from 3-1 against the 73-win Warriors in '16, perhaps even more so.I'm not sure why it is, but I still don't think the Rockets are much better than 50/50 in a series against the Cavs (assuming everyone is full strength).
Both of those guards historically aren't as good come playoff time. Chris Paul is good, but he's not Kyrie Irving or Steph Curry when it comes to a sidekick. Capela is really tough, but he's a limited big man.
If the Rockets and Cavs play in the finals, I think LeBron is good enough to trump the whole series provided the rest of the team just plays their standard game.
