Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Not sure how you do this when you have no cap room.

this fucking sucks.

Yea definitely gonna be hard but we are gonna have to use the MLE wisely and hope we can find a match somewhere with a TPE also

Honestly, Beverly going to the Clips likely makes him more available.

They are going to just gut the team I'm sure and it's likely Deandre is the asset people will focus on.

Cavs might be able to get Beverly for someone like Frye, who's an expiring + a protected pick.

We'll see what the Clips strategy is here but I'd imagine they are going to completely strip it down and start over.

Indeed, it would be great if Cavs could land DJ & Beverly for TT & shump

DJ is a nice pipe dream but i think the price will be way too high. What about robin Lopez? He's on a great contract and can do just about everything DJ can do just not as great of a rebounder. he has some offensive skill in the post and can hit FTs. I would love to have him. Maybe cedi would work or shump in a 3 way.

Robin Lopez?

I like him but definitely not against GS.

Beverly is tied up on a super cheap contract. The Clippers can get a massively better offer than we have. They're not going to just salary dump him. Makes no sense.

I think Beverley will be viewed as a backup point guard on the trade market. All the good teams have a point guard as good if not better than Beverley. He is at or very near his peak at 29. I don't see a bad team paying up for him. It's in the best interest of the clippers to move on from Lou Williams and Beverley before free agency if they can get an asset back. That way they can get their replacements and start their rebuilding process. This all assumes Blake leaves.

Cedi and Frye for Beverley is a good offer. It gets them a tradable asset in Frye and a young player to develop in Cedi. I could see a team give up a high second or low 1st round pick for Frye at the deadline.

A lot of contending teams have a need for Beverley, even if he's a backup point guard.

The road to a title is through GS. And you need someone to defend Curry. There's no one better.

Even teams in the East that want to be contenders and are going against us - like Boston, Toronto, and Washington will want him to guard Irving.

He's going to have lots of suitors.

I think Beverley nets them a 1st round pick in the 20's. I'm not sure what the league values Cedi but I think we view him like a draft pick in the 20's. The question will be does the clippers view Cedi as such. Will they want an asset to develop now or at the deadline. Do they view Frye as a flippable asset.

I don't think we want to offer Cedi a contract because we want to use our mini MLE somewhere else. I feel like they will try to flip him as soon as they can.

Everything with the Clippers hangs on Griffin's decision. If Griffin leaves, everyone with value is getting moved. I don't think trading TT, Frye, and Cedi straight up gets you Beverly and Jordan, but I don't necessarily think it's out of the question if you can find a team that wants TT and would be willing to send other assets expirings to LAC.

There are a LOT of FA lead guards on the market this year. I think you are right, Beverley is cheap and useful, but there is a chance that this is an area where there is a glut this year. That could make Beverley a cheap target for some teams or he could end up without a chair if Blake leaves and Clips go full rebuild. But it's not just the handful of contenders - teams like New Orleans would like to add someone like Beverley too. Could see Spurs interested.

The Cavs can't get in a bidding war for Beverly. Cheap assets like that, if moved, are going to attract a lot of suitors.
The Cavs are stuck right now. Just not seeing a lot of open windows right now- they're all getting closed.
The Melo wanting to be bought out to go to Houston is the biggest throat punch of the day.

If Griffin left, everything of value might be dealt, but only for young cheap players, picks and expiring contracts.

Frye with his non guaranteed deal beginning after next year could get moved with a future first possibly for someone like Lou Will or Beverley, but not Shump or TT
