And I dont think anyone was more taken with this guy than I was a few years ago during draft season.

And that might be the case. What's the harm in finding out in person?

Half our WR corps are either hurt or haven't done anything yet, why not see if DGB is totally hopeless or if Hue can figure him out? He seems to pride himself on coaching up guys like this, why not take a shot?

Bringing in another guy who hasn't done anything and presents an obvious question as a character would pose some risk to the culture Jackson is trying to build.

I don't disagree in theory, especially your point about Hue fixing those type of guys.

But I only took issue with DBG being labeled an "upside guy" after a few failed stints and no progression in his time in the NFL.

I agree. You could bring him in and see what Al and Hue can do with him.

If you don't see progress and/or don't like his character, just simply cut him. I don't see the harm in bringing him to camp as it would be absolutely no risk.

Sure, we've had our experiences with a 20-something knuckle-head. However, DGB is a recent 24. This might be his last stab at getting it together before he's out of the league--I'd have no problem with it being us who does it.
 
Football season needs to start ASAP.

I'm excited about this team, but more so I REALLY need a break from these Cavs....

Totally agree - I'd just add that there is a pretty good break available right now with a damn entertaining Tribe.....

This is true.

However I can never really get into baseball until September or October. Too many games.

Going and being at the games is different however.
 
Yeah, totally can't wait for the shitty football team to fill the void left by a team that's played for a championship the last three years.

Well maybe they may not be so shitty this season. We never know since we don't even know who our starting QB is once again!
