2017 Browns Off Season Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Nobody else will pay him?

No, but the Browns have a plethora of cap space to beat any other offer he gets. The question is do we really want that much invested at the RB position? Even if it is a playmaker as electrifying as Bell.

In the end, he'll likely be staying in Pitt.

Since the Steelers and Bell came up, it's worth noting that James Conner, their third round pick out of Pitt, is the third highest selling jersey in the NFL right now. Le'veon turned down a deal for 12 million a year so they clearly wanted him to stay long-term, however Steelers fans love the local tie-in and the fact Conner beat cancer. Is Conner good enough to start? We will see, but Steelers fans already made their statement about a potential Bell negotiation. I could see Bell elsewhere next season, just don't know where.

Conner is nothing special at the NFL level. Great story but he doesnt have half the talent of Bell.

Hopefully thats what they do, it would be great.

Somehow, someway, the Patriots will get him.

It's the Steelers... he'll somehow be an All-Pro there.

Let me reiterate.....

THANK GOD THAT THE BROWNS SEASON IS COMING UP SO SOON. I NEED SOME HOPE AND ***STABILITY*** IN MY LIFE.

These two sentences do not belong with each other... :chuckle:

Well you knew what to expect from the Browns for a lot of years so they were fairly consistent and stable lol

With the Peppers signing, the Browns mostly avoided negative headlines this July. Progress!

Almost. Just please keep all flammables and lighters away from First Energy Stadium
