2017 Browns Off Season Thread

Fair or Foul?

I don't value the opinion of any Browns fan who was on the Johnny train.

Fair as fvck. It's all a hype train. Those people probably respond to people with, "well, I guess you're just not a big baller!" in everyday life.

lolol good one. Lozno shits more talent than Johnny will ever have though. Also a coincidence how they both wear #2.

The Johnny Train is the main reason Cleveland area Millennials can't get good jobs. When you display such a poor judge of quarterback talent, what can you possibly provide a in a business environment?

Oh man please don't remind me how so many people were spinning drafting Johnny as a good business move. That shit was so frustrating to hear. All the think pieces defending that pick as us needing to make a "splash". I'm getting a headache just thinking about it.

huh. I like you keys, but you say some really off the wall shit sometimes. The city is getting younger and smarter. I would guess young and educated people aren't staying or moving to the city without jobs, but what the hell do I know. I just live and work here.

I actually do wonder if some of the people with their fingers on the "blow-it-up" button annually actually have had any meaningful professional experience. The cost (tangibly and intangibly) of constant turnover translates to almost any organization.

Really liked this podcast talking about the Browns. It starts getting to Browns stuff in the 18th minute.

A great listen! I think a lot of us have bought into the Dorsey hype train which is definitely fueled by media. The podcast presents a perspective on how NFL cronyism extends to media and can disguise blemishes of a "league guy" like Dorsey. As much as I want to buy into the hype of this front office, it comes with some concerns as well. But by golly, if Sashi Brown has to become this "martyr" for analytics for us to compete again then so be it. I just want to see some wins for once!

Absolutely stunning stat they bring up about how we blitzed more often than any defense in the NFL but had the least QB pressures in the league. I mean we have to be doing this on purpose right?

Yeah, Rizzo was being a tard today.

Although Dan Lebatard is also a twat.

Rizzo is an arrogant POS. When I first moved back to Ohio I listened because quite frankly I didn't know what the other options were. I wouldn't even call that show sports talk, it is... something else. Definitely not worth wasting any mental energy hearing what that group of people has to say.

Radio show hosts are paid to fill time, generate conversation, shill for advertising revenue. They never expect to be held to what they say by management because it's hard to fill three to four hours of talk radio. They make wild predictions and outlandish hot takes, it's part of the job.

What can get you fired is outright lies like the idiot who claimed Thomas and Peppers were on drugs. Other than that, it's the responsibility of the listener to know these people are at least half filled with utter bullshit.
