2017 Browns Off Season Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
SO apparently the Vikes are not picking up Bridgewater's 5th year at 11 mill but will try to sign him for less because of the knee injury.

Any interest?

Well, being that he'd be a free agent and he had some choice things to say about the Cleveland Browns after the draft a few years back.... I doubt it.

Name & story recognition are the only things that matter. People know who Bill Polian is, so they believe folks will tune-in to hear a familiar name. They also have definitely went more towards political discussion.

I consciously avoid ESPN since they've become political-issue oriented. If there happens to be a good game on, I'll watch that, but I don't watch SportsCenter or any of the other shows anymore.

Can't remember the last time I "watched" ESPN for anything other than a live game. Literally can't stand it

Espn needs to cut half their NFL staff while they're at it. No reason polian should have a job.

Why would he resign in Minny with Bradford there? Makes no sense. If I were Bridge, I'd try to go sonewhere like Houston or Denver. Would have a good shot to contend and a better chance to start.

ESPN realized quite a long time ago that they can pay people far less to come up with moronic takes.

The less intelligent people's takes are, the more they'll be interacted with by a public who either A. Is too dumb to know how bad the take is OR B. People who are smarter and still feel compelled to watch/yell at them via social media or some other outlet.

They've been doing this business model for a long time. Since the days of letting guys like Charley Steiner, Dan Patrick and others walk away.

I'll bet the Dan Patrick Show was must see TV today. I'll be dialing up today's podcast later for sure...
