2017 Browns Off Season Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I am not worried about trying to win the division this season though.

Well the NBA is fucking broken, the Indians just play grab ass all season

Looks like it's up to you, Browns

Ugh.

My heart wants to be impatient with this team. I want us to kick ass, shock the world, and somehow wind up in the playoffs.

My brain tells me that this is a team coming off a 1-15 season, Brock Osweiler, Cody Kessler, and Deshone Kizer are not franchise "savior" QB's and there's still a long ass way to go.

I so badly want to be you know...relevant. I know that takes time and there's no quick fixes, but man...I wanna be drinking with friends in december some day excited about where we could be come play off time.

That staidum by the lake has no "lore" to it. It needs "worn" in, some (GOOD) memories attached to it.

This team is honestly going in the right direction, but it will most likely be another season before they are in the playoffs. With more high picks next season and cap space, they will fill in the holes they have this year with those assets and become a playoff team. The OLine and DLine got major upgrades and a team should be built from those two areas first and for the most part that is done. LBs are pretty much set, but around the board we are still very young, but there are a lot of analysts that say the Browns could vastly improved their record and get 5-7 wins.

I honestly say this season, everyone roots against the Texans since we own there first two picks in the draft. If they don't make the playoffs, we could have two 15ish picks in the 1st and 2nd rounds. So even if they are facing the Steelers, Ravens or Bengals we root against the Texans since them losing is our gain. I think we will see a lot more life on both sides of the ball and with whoever starts at QB, with the line we have, we should at least have decent numbers from our QB

This was a good fucking post.

He has done nothing so far to pass Kessler. Probably just saying it b/c of how close Hue is watching/helping him.

Believe Kessler was first up and went with the 1's, Osweisler went with the 2's, then Kizer went with the 1's.

No one knows anything yet.

I personally feel Kizer is maybe our long term guy and Hue thinks that as well, but knows he is far from it right now, which is why he is working with him a lot. Even though he came from Notre Dame, he is a much larger learning curve than Kessler did last season to start. I believe Osweiler and Kessler will battle it out for this season and Kizer will sit for a season or two before he really gets the chance to be the full time starter.

But honestly outside of it being Kessler's job to lose, we have no clue about what everyone is thinking. Some are saying Osweiler will get the job, so until Hue tells us the info, I am not sure I'll believe the media.

If he's being serious and not like the past guys we've seen?

You do a true competition and see which one plays the best during camp and preseason. I'm a bit anxious about tossing Kizer out there too soon because we've been through this movie before.
