2017 Buckeyes Football

Can Ohio State win a National Championship with JT having an arm like this? I'm really not so sure.

A better defense will once again shut us down, just like Clemson did last year.

Arm like what? He missed a few passes and his WR's didn't help but I didn't see anything last night that can't be fixed with time. He is going to have to establish chemistry with his WR's though. We desperately need someone to take the reigns and become his guy. Getting separation still seemed like a problem at times last night.

Shit...the one throw to Campbell was the best throw I've seen from him since his freshman year, and it was dropped.

Lot to like about the 2nd half adjustments.

His accuracy beyond 10 yards is atrocious.

Which is why we saw them throw it deep like 3 times..... Indiana is not a good defensive team.

I guess if Dobbins is going to play like that we're a playoff team no matter what, but Dobbins isn't Zeke. He can't carry us to a national title like that.

Well, like bimbo said, the second-half adjustments were real encouraging -- offensively and defensively.

Wilson will see strengths of certain skill-position players in certain sets and plays; he will adjust and develop accordingly, imo. Dixon, Victor and Mack haven't had a lot of live-game burn so I guess you just hope they're watching themselves on film and making adjustments for round 2.

But goddamn that pass rush and run defense. IU abandoned the run almost immediately.

What was that again?

Yeah he looked like shit against OU. Held on to the ball too long working through reads. Delivered the ball late. Didn't establish any sort of rhythm.

Kudos to you, i guess.

To be fair, I've been extremely skeptical of Meyer's offensive philosophies and play calling for the last couple of years as well.

I'm absolutely positive there is a mixture of both that has made this offense so painful to watch.

I'm not sure why we are trying to make JT into a pro-style QB. We need to simplify our offense like we did his freshman year. He basically had 1 read and if it wasn't here, he would take off.

Not sure why we aren't even giving him the option of checking down to a RB but waiting on him to go through 3-4 progressions is not going to do the trick. These obvious designed QB runs won't do the trick. Coaching has been pretty bad offensively.
