Caught the Buckeyes at the right time, and are getting exposed now. Their defense is taking steps back each week.

Mayfield has to be perfect for them moving forward, or they'll a few more times this year.

Minor point, but there's really no reason to be rooting for Oklahoma. If we take care of business, we will be in, but you don't want a scenario where OSU and OU are being compared against each other, each with 1 loss. Because we lose that fight.....

In general, just root for 2 loss conference champions. Oklahoma losing another game but beating TCU would be a nice start for a 2 loss B12 champ.

It was actually at -9 prior to PSU beating Michigan.

Vegas loves the Bucks in this match-up and rightfully so, IMO.

We dominated them everywhere but the scoreboard in Happy Valley last year. We have a "revenge" game, and it's at home in the Shoe. Meyer's track record in these types of games is stellar, Clemson aside.

Also keep in mind, as good as Saquon Barkeley has been, PSU has given up 25% of their runs for 0 gain or a loss. They're ripe for 3 and outs, and largely rely on 50/50 balls. We held them to 3.3 YPC last year, and our defensive line is even better.

I do worry about our secondary in the 50/50 ball scenario, but I also see us getting a lot of 3 and outs.

Combine above with what the offensive staff has started putting together, and it's likely to me that we win by multiple touchdowns. I think you guys are right that the public will continue to bring the line down, but smart money will be on the Buckeyes.

Or is the offense really improved? Personally, I'm hoping the defense is improved as much as the offense...DBs that turn their heads, yeah, that'd be great...

I'm very confident about it, but obviously you never know.

I love our talent level, our new wrinkles offensively, and our ability to penetrate gaps defensively. We have advantages all over the field.......

My biggest concern is special teams honestly. But we are a better team, at home, and seeking revenge. I like it.....

Percentage wise when evaluating a game, you really need to evaluate defense vs offense, and offense vs defense going both ways.

When you do that evaluation, OSU looks much better on paper. And they're at home. And Meyer is pissed about last year.........and the offense has finally found a rhythm....and the defense is #1 in country at tackles behind LOS, and PSU has been awful when it comes to gap penetration.

OU had me nervous because I knew the play-calling would largely be mis-direction and exploiting a very green defense. PSU doesn't really operate that way.....lot of zone read, lot of 50/50 balls. And they go 3 and out a lot.......I just don't see them keeping this game super close. It might be semi-tight but I don't think we lose against this spread.....

Might actually be moving back, there are rumblings of availability in Ohio for when I get promoted. Fuck, it'd be awesome to be able to crash OSU games again and get shitfaced and wake up in back alleys.
