2017 Cleveland Indians

Those stats are disgusting--especially being last in starter ERA just two months ago.

Who still thinks we need to go trade the farm for a starter?

Right?

This team, for a full season, has drastically underperformed offensively.

And we're what, six up?

Seems like the team is fixing itself from all the early troubles and the cream is slowly rising to the top.

Let's get Kipnis sorted out and be ready for the postseason, gotta like the chances if healthy.

The offense has yet to hit on all cylinders, they're erratic.
The pitching staff is still without Miller, who I would consider sitting another week due to the breathing room in the division now.
I would also consider going to a 6 man rotation or give guys a night off in the rotation to keep them fresh.
I may also send Zimmer down for a couple weeks to let him get his swing together if possible. He's struggling.
This is the best team in the AL; they may steamroll to the series...

Man do the Dodgers look great, but this one good thing about baseball:

If it was Basketball or Football, we wouldnt stand a chance against the Dodgers, but if we make the series and the Dodgers do to, we probably have about a 40% chance of winning.

This team is starting to come together for sure.

I am surpised no one chewed you out yet for saying send down Zimmer even for a few days let alone a couple weeks! :chuckle:

Honestly though he does need to figure out things, but it is hard to say which place he should do it at. With Chisenhall and Brantley both being hurt, Zimmer will be up regardless. I would hope guys like Brantley and Chisenhall can talk to him and help him get out of the issues he is having, but it is all a growing experience for the kid.

It is nice to see Bruce playing well for us as well since we needed some extra offense and so far has done a great job.
