So there's a Trump voter.

I still don't know how people don't show up to games.

Tickets are cheap.
Food & drink has come down.
Team is winning. World Series bound.
They are white hot.
Atmosphere is amazing.

It is a slap in the face. But, we're #2 in baseball for TV ratings last I heard.

What was the count last night?

What do you think the Browns attendance would be if they played 82 home games?

Yeah, kind of sucks. I just had foot surgery, or my wife and I would be going to games. The plus side of being all gimped up and stuck at home is that I do at least get to watch more games on TV, but I'd much rather be there.

18,521 attendance last night

Worst since Monday June 26

Damn shame
Wow. Stuff like this given
1. we have a shot at making MLB history
2. We are likely the favorite to win the world series
3. the economy is very strong

Makes me worry about baseball's long term future in Cleveland.

Bought a ticket today just because I was disgusted with that 18k. You guys can do the same.

Bought the cheapest ticket to stand too. Don't judge my empty seat as nobody there =)

Of the 8 games played yesterday, only one with worse attendance was Yankees vs. Rays, which was played at Citi Field.

28k in Toronto, 27k in Milwaukee, 23k in Kansas City

I think the most reasonable explanation is summer is over; families have kids going to school the next day and the weather has cooled off some.

It's unrealistic to expect a sellout through the week, but there is no reason why they shouldn't be getting 25k+ on the weekend nights right now.

Attendance has been good for day games so I expect tomorrow to be much better, especially if the team has a chance to tie the '35 Cubs.

It's just a fact of life at this point.

For our 7 September weekday games last year, they only averaged ~13.5k

So it's a work in progress I suppose

guys we only have 12,000 season ticket holders so to expect 20,000 people to walk up on a week school night is unrealistic. The other teams listed above have way bigger season ticket holder bases.

It was cold as hell last night, can't expect people on a cool Monday night to actually sit out in that. The judgement here is just unnecessary. This club LOVES the Indians and it's stars Corey Kluber, Jose Martinez, Edgar Encarnacion, Jason Kipnis and that smiling Mexican shortstop.

Jose Martinez? Lmao.
I agree

That's what I've been doing for years--the standing room (LF, RF, and upper deck RF) are all great views.

As a season ticket holder, I went to my seats once this year--just to see what they're like.
