True. I suppose I'd trade the Bengals and their playoff misery for the Browns dumpster fire. Think of the Browns for the last 17 years, the double it, then ADD six more years, and you had what our fathers and grandfathers lived through with the Indians.

Didn't seem embarrassing at the time. We're not the first city to hold a 2nd-place parade. Houston twice had parades for those Oilers teams that lost to the Steelers in the AFC Championship game.

I was 5, going on 6. My 1st big season was 97. Knew the team and stats up and down. Only to have them lose in game 7 on the day of my 8th birthday.

Its ridiculous how loaded the teams of the 90s were. I just looked at the 2000 team that didn't even make the playoffs, and they won 90 games and top to bottom looked very similar to ever other team of that run. Its crazy how lucky you have to be to win it all.

Everything comes to an end. Cavs just won it all 2016 after decades of tragic disappointments, in a year they should not have! Indians will eventually win it all, they are too well run. Browns however will never win it due to the sport being disbanded in 20 years.
