2017 Draft Prospects Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
No, he just had his bed broken, empty used condoms everywhere, etc.

He hired a cleaning crew, paid them extra, had someone fix everything that was broken, replaced what was not fixable, and only cost him about $1,000.

SO he pocketed an extra $4,000, he was not mad, plus he did charge them $2k a week, but it is a very nice place,

Empty condoms? There's gotta be cum all-over. Does he normally rent the house out to porn producers? :chuckle:

First of all, Ryan Shazier ended the run of Alopecia survivors to succeed in the major leagues.

No, he lives there but has other houses he moves into when there is an event. He has done spring training players, execs for the super bowl, phoenix open.

He is a single guy with a 3500 square foot house near old town that is almost brand new, so it rents well for events. Makes about $20k a year renting his house 2-3 months of the year during events.

Shazier was the first time any major damage happened. Eddie my friend is a funny guy, done well for himself but hasnt fully grown up, still parties like he is 25 years old, lol. (He is almost 40)

Hope he is right. Davis Webb is hot garbage. But he has that vaunted NFL size so people lose their shit over him.

McCaffrey's biggest concern to me is long term stability.

Drafting him is like buying a used car at this point. He was Stanford's offense for much of his collegiate career.

He's in the gray area but not the red zone for me.

600+ carries in 3 years isn't awful. Peterson was at nearly 750 exiting Oklahoma. Even with all those miles, AP played in 103 out of 112 in his first 7 NFL seasons. Zeke had almost 600 college carries. Seems to be the new normal for a college RB (that type of workload). You'd love less miles but I think McCaffrey has some pretty stellar genes.

With that said, I wouldn't draft him but I think his college mileage isn't awful for someone who was the centerpiece of their offense. As others have said, if he lands on a team with a creative offensive coach, he could be a great pro. I thought I read an article somewhere that Carolina may like him? ...Which seems like a nice fit. Pair him with Stewart, move him around in a slot / RB role and he could be really good with a mobile QB that can keep the ends honest.

AP also has the build of a Greek god.

Big Dobbs fan, mostly because I'm a casual Volunteers fan (long story).

Really hope he does well. He's incredibly intelligent as most in here seem to know...but let's make sure we don't mistakenly relate intelligence to how quickly someone can process what they see from the pocket during an NFL down.

That opening clip of Gruden's camp where Dobbs surprises Gruden with a donation to his organization...that's classic Josh Dobbs. Even if he doesn't turn out to be a starting QB in the NFL, this is a guy you can't go wrong with having around your organization.

He is smart and a great athlete, do you think he can learn proper pro mechanics with his footwork and his throwing arm mechanics?

I'm honestly going to be really upset if the Browns don't find a way to get Mahomes on this roster.

Over the last couple months I've really fallen in love with him as a prospect. We need a guy with a ceiling like that. Some of the throws the guy has already made are just unfathomable.

I'm as close as you can get to Mahomes or bust at this point at the QB position in this draft.

Though he is a late first round grade and they won't draft him above that. So @AZ_ draft for the Browns could happen if he is our target, but it's possible like I said in an earlier post we move down from 12 and up from 33 to essentially break even if not plus with the Harvard draft stats and the Johnson draft stats mix. I mean if we could get Garrett, Obi and Mahomes in the first round, I wouldn't be mad about that since we really got three guys in needs that have a lot of upside. That would be an amazing draft and like I suggested earlier, we can make a move to keep pick 52 as well or use our gluttony of second round picks next season to help us move up as well.

Personally I kind of want to draft Garrett, Conley/Humphrey and Obi in the first round and draft Dobbs later in the draft, but either way both ideas make sense to me.

He's got a late first round grade, guy.

Hard to imagine that's not set in stone.

Seriously though, Mahomes' floor is probably 25. He's likely going to go much higher than people think, as has been obvious by the amount of visits and where those teams are in the first.

Who would be your choice for the Browns if they are taking a QB this year, even if it's not one of the top guys and just a developmental one?

Yep, someone will inevitably fall in love with his ceiling.

The Texans worked him out, which you mentioned (25), would likely be his floor.

Arizona (13) had him in and needs a QB to groom. They could slide back a few slots and take him.

Additionally, if anyone who likes Mahomes wants to throw up, Pittsburgh worked him out too. :chuckle:

All the QBs in this draft are really developmental to be sincere from looking at them. I really do not see one who can play right away. I'm leaning towards Dobbs as the QB I would draft this season since I like the guys next season so much better. It's going to be hard to draft a guy in the 1st round and sit them with the way the media is towards Cleveland and in Cleveland.
