2017 Draft Prospects Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I forgot Kizer was in the draft...

That guy reminds me of Ryan Leaf. Seems mentally weak, questionable love for the game, etc... Leaf has since turned himself into a hell of a guy, but Kizer scares the crap out of me.

To bad you couldn't take Deshaun's head/heart, and put it on Deshone's body.

Meh, I don't like Peppers at all as a prospect.

But a diluted sample is not the same thing as a failed test, even though it's reported and treated the same.

Don't believe the hype of Mitchell at #1. He played in the ACC against some questionable defenses for 1 year, with draftable guys at the skill positions. No player is ever a lock but that's just not solid enough to justify picking him over Garrett with his 3 year body of work.

Why do people want Trubisky over Watson? Does what Mitch did in 13 games outweigh what Watson did in 3 years? If it's based on pro projections than how can you go with the guy who barely showed you anything in 13 games vs a guy who was considered the best QB in the nation and led his team to back to back National Championship games?

I think they're trying to move up to get both guys, who are 1a and 1b on their board.

Drafting Mitchell at 1 is the pick that'll kill the franchise.

Trubisky has a much better arm than Watson and has shown to be much more accurate.

Watson has been inacurate and does not have a strong arm, but has shown to have the heart of a lion.

Wonderlic scores for the QBs have been released (out of a possible 50):

Deshaun Watson - 20
Jerod Evans - 21
Chad Kelly - 22
Patrick Mahomes - 24
Davis Webb- 25
Mitch Trubisky - 25
CJ Beathard - 26
DeShone Kizer - 28
Josh Dobbs - 29
Trevor Knight - 30
Nathan Peterman - 32
Brad Kaaya - 34

Myles Garrett scored a 31, by the way.

For a rocket scientist (aerospace engineer) surprised that Dobbs scored a 29.
