2017 Draft Prospects Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Alot of mocks got Hooker dropping into the mid to late teens. Go get him Ferry!!!!!!

The only Hooker that drops that far in this draft is the one that was in Conley's hotel room.

Interesting Conley passed a lie detector test administered by the Ravens....

I continue to believe he'll be fine from a legal stand-point

Pro Football Focus scouting report on Peppers. What a risky move for a team who needs talent.

Is it too early to start looking ahead to 2018 now that we didn't take a QB high?

I'm hopeful that the Browns will be bad enough to get one of Rosen/Darnold next season. I'm a massive Rosen fan, and think he's the next superstar at that position (Rodgers, Brady, Manning type) but I love Darnold's game too.

It feels like the regime is all in on going QB high next year. The thing is our schedule is slightly easier and I have a strong feeling we'll be out of position to snag one. Right now the Jets/49ers/Browns DESPERATELY need a QB, and that will likely grow to numerous others next year as well. For sure the Jags.

Of course not. One would hope what transpired last night is an indication that we are going all in for a top QB in 2018. Which I've been on board with for a year now.

Darnold is the top guy right now. But there's quite a bit of great QB prospects next year. Exciting to think about.

My thoughts exactly.

Build the foundation on both sides of the line, mass assets and exploit a bumper crop of QBs rather than the slim pickings of the past couple seasons.

Yup.

And all these teams that are picking qbs this year will likely be bad again next year. But they will still be developing qbs and not need one.

Jets, 49ers, Bills, potentially Broncos, & Vikings could all need QBs. As many if not more than this year...

Some of the people bitching the most about not getting a QB are also bitching about trading down from 12. The two decisions are linked. Trading down from 12 was a down payment on getting a stud QB next year.

I sure hope so...it would certainly make perfect sense.
