2017 Game #2 | #2 Ohio State vs. #5 Oklahoma | September 9th, 2017 @ 7:30 PM EST

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Barrett is the drizzling shits. You cannot convince me otherwise.

He has regressed so hard since his freshman year. And he is not a dynamic runner.

To be fair to the player, a lot went wrong from the end of his freshman season until now.

The injury, the DUI, the Tim Beck, the uncertainty from the coaching staff between him and Cardale...

But I still think the lack of true wide receivers has killed us the last few seasons. Too many H-backs, not enough Devin Smith's or Michael Thomas'.

JT has definitely regressed as a passer since his freshman year...but the quality of true WRs on the team has fallen off a cliff too.

Good thing the last few cycles they have started to recruit actual WRs. Should hopefully pay off for Haskins or Burrow when they take the reins.

The offensive line hasn't been great the last two years, mainly 59 at right tackle. He is a piece of shit. But they aren't terrible. Nearly every time he drops back, he stands there and holds the ball and holds the ball and holds the ball. Then he'll start running or throw it away. Throw the fucking ball. You're supposed to be a quarterback.

The OLine was TERRIBLE last year. Did you not watch the PSU and Michigan games? Or the Clemson game? Or NW? Or Sparty? I mean, if you honestly are arguing the OLine was amazing last year, then you are just pissed off right now or don't know what you are talking about.

It was OK in 2015. Zeke was amazing and made them look better.

It started out horrible in 2014 and got great as the year went along. Coincidentally, Barrett was great that year too.

Agree to disagree but this offense is meant for the QB to get the ball out quickly. JT just clutches and double clutches and hesitates just to release the ball on nearly every single pass. I just think the QB is whats broken with the system.

If Barrett is supposed to get rid of the ball quickly, why don't we run WR screens like we used and why are 1/3 of Barrett's throws on rollouts? The offense OSU is running now is not a quick hitting offense. Even the short crosses they hit last week took 2-3 seconds to develop.

Welp...they're planting the flag at midfield. Fuckers.

College football excitement lasted two weeks. Fantastic.

This team still has Urban Meyer and a bunch of 4 and 5 star recruits. If they win out, they'll make the CFB playoff easily.

Now, they have a shit ton of improving to do, but I wouldn't bury them yet.

Plus, we owe revenge to PSU and it'd be fun to push hairball to 0-3.

Barrett is just a bad QB. Same old problems we saw most of the last half of last year... lacking in accuracy, reading defenses, timing, throwing into windows, touch... the things good passing QBs do. Yes, there are other problems on the team (e.g. face-guarding DBs) but the #1 problem by far is the QB play.

Barrett is like a dinner knife for an operation that requires a scalpel.

That pretty much sums it up perfectly. JT clearly isn't as confident in his receivers, and his decision-making looks to have slowed as well. And the receivers are meh.

I'm a fan, but more casual than with the pro teams. Is there a freshman or sophomore whom Urban might give a shot at QB if JT continues to suck?

I'm not beyond putting blame on Wilson and Day. Wilson literally ran JT more than Dobbins and Weber combined..... but at the sometime, I understand the issue.

Once OSU starts to get their RB's rolling, teams just start stacking the box. OU did this after OSU's TD drive coming out of half time and forced JT to throw and beat them and he couldn't. He just holds and holds and holds onto the ball. This is JT's yardage last five games.... it's unacceptable on so many levels.

Oklahoma- 183
Indiana- 304
Clemson- 127
Michigan- 124
MSU- 86
