Want to add to this that Mejia had his second straight 2 HR game yesterday as well.

Our top 3 prospects this year so far:

Zimmer: .294/.371/.532 in AAA, .273/.344/.564 in the MLB

Mejia: .346/.391/.588 in AA

McKenzie: 2.51 ERA, 84 Ks in 64.2 IP in High A

I feel like that's pretty good...

I would guess they target college players early on with limited pool money without a 1st round pick.

I'm sure they are hoping Wil Crowe makes it to 64 somehow...

College guys I like who could or should be available around our picks...

Position players: Gavin Sheets, Greg Deichmann, Drew Ellis, Michael Gigliotti, Kevin Merrell, Kevin Smith, Luis Gonzalez

Pitchers: Corbin Martin, Morgan Cooper, Jake Thompson, Blaine Knight, Daniel Tillo, Drew Rasmussen
 
So is Mejia continues playing like this, could we expect him up as early as sometime next year?

Lucroy could have been the tipping point in such a close World Series last year, but man I am excited to still have this guy in our system.

Part of me thinks if Perez or Gomes see the DL, he sees some time this year...

Bat is MLB ready, just his game calling still needs to get there, but an MLB pitching coach can get him through games.

Bobby Bradley really starting to wake up in AA...K rate continues to fall, and he just hit HR #9, which was a grand slam.

.272/.348/.447 slash since the beginning of May with a 21.7% K rate and 10% BB rate.

Triston McKenzie with maybe his weirdest outing as a pro. 5 IP, 4 H, 1 ER, 5 BB, 6 K...have to be pretty good to allow 9 baserunners, and the only run you gave up was off of a solo HR. ERA is back below 2.50...he's 19 for 2 more months...
 
So glad the Lucroy deal fell through.
