No, it'll be in 2-3 years. I really think they'll end up having a really impressive core. Sanchez, Frazier, Torres, Mateo. I really like the top of their farm system, and they've raked on trades last year to make it even stronger.

I thought you meant they were gearing up for a signing.

They're gearing up to have as little committed for 2018 as possible IMO. They might set a record for money spent in one winter in 2018.

I get the sense that they're going to go hard after Bryce Harper.

I don't think they'll give him the $400 million he's looking for, but I'm expecting something in at least the $300+ range.

They're about to have a damn good team for years to come.

They'll probably be middle of the road for another year or two, but not much longer given their stockpile of young talent and money. They need to shore up the starting pitching.
