2017 NFL playoff thread

So, in basketball terms is this bigger choke-job than Warriors last NBA Finals?

Am a NFL noob. So, help a brother out!

Nothing funnier than the falcons owner going on the field so early

Dan Quinn should join Pete Carrol in the Patriots Hall of Fame after this one. Blows my fucking mind how coaches just go full retard like this. The game was over after Julio caught that pass. All they had to do was run 3 times and kick a FG and win the fucking Super Bowl. Hell, they could have just fucking knee'd it 3 times.

That was a Browns level choke.

Super salty that bullshit Boston gets another fucking championship to celebrate. If it wasn't for the comeback they would've barely felt this one. So fucking spoiled. Lame. That's all. Brady is really good at football but I get easily tired of "greatness" when they aren't mine to root for.

And ya know what, fine. Be great. But it bums me out that it's at the expense of Atlanta. No Super Bowl titles and no wins at all outside of the 95 Braves. As a Cleveland/underdog fan, this is lame as hell. Franchises like the Pats are the ones who are supposed to have major collapses, because those losses can be made up for with all their other bullshit success. Instead they have a blemish against the Giants and get paid back with two epic SB wins. OY.

Like all the other Super Bowl challengers I'd bet we don't see the Falcons back in the Super Bowl for a long time.

IMO the Warriors choke job was bigger because it happened over a span of multiple games. Our comeback was tougher in that regard as well.

Absolutely. And, like the Cubs, the Pats were the favorites, so making the comeback is less impressive in that regard (in comparison, obviously what they did tonight was fucking stupid good, ugh).

Really feel bad for Atlanta fans.

That is brutal stuff.

Also sucks that the Hawks and Braves don't bring much to the table right now.

The Warriors did the same thing the Falcons did except they did it in the consecutive games, and the last one was a home game. This after having the greatest regular season ever.

Oh, and those fuckers are STILL playing the fucking victim bullshit because of deflate-gate. They had already won 4 Super Bowls and they were convinced the NFL was out to get them. This is not retribution, this is boring garbage.

Glad to have a place to vent haha.

Team with history cheating gets all mopey when punished for said cheating. Great.

I don't think it's even close. Falcons lead 28-3 until there were 17 minutes to play. They literally could have just ran the ball 3 times and punted the rest of the game and won a Super Bowl. They didn't have to make plays. They just had to not be complete idiots.
