2017 NFL playoff thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
The point is we are 2 wins from the Super Bowl? I like the position we put ourselves in actually. And believe it or not, we can play great games. We haven't been good so far today, but anyone can win any game. And Steelers are a playoff tested team who have already played a game. And this one isn't over either for the record.

No, Alex Smith isn't a Rodgers or Brady, but there aren't exactly many of those. Last year was our first playoff win since 93'. This year we won a competitive division. I'm happy with the direction we are going. I haven't ever seen this team have any real success in my lifetime and we are actually giving ourselves a chance. I don't agree with your opinion at all.
3 wins from winning it.

Walter I'm not trying to trash your team. I actually really like the Chiefs team... outside of Alex Smith.

Again my opinion is that there are 20 QBs I would prefer to have over Alex Smith so I'm not saying you need a top 5 QB to win. I really don't think Alex Smith is capable of winning a super bowl in the current NFL power structure.

I'm just going to let it go, but to me it is a shame to watch a team that is very talented year in and year out handcuff themselves to such a mediocre QB. But when you have 12 wins everyone thinks he can be that guy. I just never will.

Dear Atlanta, expect no help from the officiating next week. The NFL would be ecstatic with a Green Bay vs NE/Pukesburgh super bowl.

2011 Won 36-32 over NO , Lost 20-17 to the Giants
2014 The Chiefs lost 45-44 tothe Colts.
2015 No playoff appearance
2016 Beat Houston 30-0 Lost NE 27-20
so Alex Smith is 2-3 in the playoffs . This is the first season hey actually won their division.

You're right, I only scanned his postseason career with the Chiefs. My mistake.

As a Chiefs fan, I agree.

That said, Alex Smith hasn't been the problem this game.

Nah. If the NFL was interested in meddling with games they would have favored Dallas today.

I don't think they really care who makes the Super Bowl. The NFL loves its parity.

And right after I say Smith isn't the problem, he makes a poor throw to Maclin that would have been a TD...

And then he misses Hill streaking up the middle. Not wide open, but with a step.

Collinsworth is amazed that a guy obviously on PEDs, James Harrison, is still playing in the league.

Classic dirtball Steelers.

Really hope ol' Tommy can take them out next week.

Plenty of time left. Just need a stop and then a FG to win it.

Andy Reid timeout mismanagement strikes again!

Also, classic Chiefs on the two-point conversion.
