Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I drove past the Cubs facility last week. Who was waiting to turn left into the players parking lot last week and received two middle fingers?

Kris Bryant.

I swear on my life it's him. I've looked through dozens of photos to confirm.

Ice looked through many of his photos too. Had the same dreamy eyes? Winning smile? Sexy facial hair? Chiseled chin?

Since you aren't someone who will insult me if I do this...at least I don't think you will...

Can I ask you why? What has been said/reported that makes it seem he like won't be the same player again?

I get the concerns about health moving forward, re-injury risk, workload...but where is the loss of talent/skill belief coming from from people?

I'm not aware of any reports saying Brantley won't be the same player again, I just keep having visions of Jeff Bagwell and Pronk, guys who had similar injury issues and were never able to recover fully because of weakness in the injured areas.

So hopefully this is just a case of me being a Cleveland fan and always expecting the worst, even though I shouldn't do that anymore after witnessing last year's NBA finals.

Besides the fact that they missed games, I don't really see how Bagwell's chronic arthritis (that left him disabled, and unable to actually throw a baseball), and Pronk's back, knee, abdomen, hand, ankle, and shoulder injuries are similar to Brantley's situation.

The issue is we have no clue who Brantley will be going forward. I doubt he will be an all star this season, but as long as he is out there he will at least productive, but we don't know until the season starts who we have.
